We are planning on visiting Disney Nov 13-19th and was wondering if it would be warm enough to use the pools that time of year, on average?

It was never warm enough for using the pool during my November visits

We were there the 12 thru the 19 afew years ago. We were able to swim easily most days. There was one day we were in jeans and fleece jackets at the parks.

all but 2 of our trips were during that period. We found it warm enough most days to use the pool in the afternoon. There are usually 1 or 2 that are not.Even when we didn't find it warm enough to swim people were in the pools and we were able to sit by it & read. Last trip we did have 2 of the jeans and sweatshirt days but that is the exception.

I think the answer really depends on your age and where you are from! If you are under 10 - yes it will be warm enough to swim! If you are over 10 and from the Northern part of the US or Canada - you will likely find it warm enough to swim most afternoons. The pools are heated so it might be just fine going in, you might just have a bit of a chill walking back to your room! Highs could be in the low 80's or even the low 70's lows in the 60s.

Went those exact dates last year. Weather was erratic and there was a cold spell for about 3 days that we were told was usual. We are New Englanders and hit up the pool at least twice on 2 non cold snap days. It was fine. The cold, days no way - 50's and a wind chill! Pack lots of different options you never know.

We have been to WDW in the first half of November every year for the last 20+ years. There was never a trip where we did not use the pool at least once during our week there. But, as many PPs said, it can vary -- a lot -- from day to day (hard to pack). We're from New England. Orlando seems hot in November. But still unlike a summer trip where we tend to hit the pool every day.

^^ THIS! We went the same week last year and I couldn't believe the weather! We got in the pool the first day, and then it got to the 40's one night! We were not prepared at all….

We went this week last fall - we started the trip in shorts and hit the pool a couple of times.. and ended it bundled up in hoodies and jeans and still cold. Pack for any possibility. =)

i've been in mid/late november many times and my family has always gone swimming.

most times its been quite nice with temps in the high 70's/low 80's.

last time i went in november was in 2012.
that trip in particular it was a bit chilly with temps being more like mid 60's/low 70's but we still swam.

It's a crap shoot. We have been that week twice now. First time it was in the 70s so not warm enough for us. We had maybe 2 days in the 80s that we were able to get in the pool, but it made it hard to plan.

Last year was primarily in the 60s, with one day being a high of 53. Way too cold.

You really won't know until the time comes.. But last year we were there Nov 12-18th and had wonderful weather! We left early on the 18th to go home and it felt chilly and I heard it got really cold that day and a couple of days after that. It was definitely warm enough our whole trip to swim.. It was gorgeous all week w/ only rain on our last full day on the 17th- it started in the late afternoon and through the evening and stopped by the time we came back to POFQ from Epcot. We really couldn't complain, since it was beautiful the whole trip. High 70's, low 80's during the day and 60's at night.

I didn't see anyone mention this above, but the pools themselves are heated to about 80 degrees.

I swam with my two young sons (my wife declined) when the air temperature was around 55 degrees in the afternoon, last November 18. There was steam rising out of the water, due to the temperature difference with the air. I was actually more comfortable in that pool than in my local _indoor_ pool, which is heated to 78 degrees. I was the only adult in the pool, but there were a few kids besides mine. The boys would have swam all day if I let them. When we got out of the pool, we bundled up in towels, walked quickly to our room, and immediately jumped in the shower. Their lips were purple by the time we made it to our room, but it was really fun. They both fell asleep for a 90-minute nap right after the shower, and we still had time to go back to an empty Animal Kingdom around 5 pm for dinner and a few rides.

That was the coldest day of our trip. Many other days were sunny with highs in the low 80s, with lots of people in and around the hotel pool.
