November Fireworks time question

So most of November's schedule was released today. On weekends, it has Fireworks showing at 8:40 and Fantasmic at 9:00 and 10:30.

I think usually fireworks is shown in between the 2 Fantasmic showings.

What are you experts thoughts on how this will affect crowds at Fantasmic? Will people be waiting in front of the castle to see the fireworks then run to see Fantasmic? Or still wait for Fantasmic so it won't be as crowded in front of the castle?

I am planning on doing the Fantasmic dessert pkg once, so I guess we will be there early enough to watch fireworks from our seat before Fantasmic starts, but wondering about other nts.

To answer your question: "Will people be waiting in front of the castle to see the fireworks then run to see Fantasmic?"

If they do, it will be quite pointless. If fireworks start at 8:40pm and last 20 minutes, Fantasmic! will be starting right when fireworks end. You cannot get there in time so there is no need to run at all.

You will have two choices:
1. Watch fireworks from Main Street and then see the 10:30pm Fantasmic!
2. Watch fireworks from the riverfront (which is not what I would recommend as it's not as good from there) and see the 9:00pm Fantasmic!

Essentially, you cannot see the fireworks from Main Street and still see the 9:00pm Fantasmic! showing.

Interesting. Thank you Disney Dreams. I guess we will probably just watch the fireworks from our seats early on our Fantasmic dessert pkg nt, watch fireworks from in front of the castle another night when fantasmic is not showing. I hope they let us come sit early enough to get our boxes and drinks and be settled before the fireworks start!!

I just found out about this too...when reserving our seating for 11/12. I was too concerned that we would not be seated in our seats by 8:40 to watch the fireworks that I moved our dessert seating to 11/7 so we can definitely see fireworks. Remember is at 9:30 that night...

We are planning to stake a spot in the hub on 11/12 instead to see the fireworks. We have only done dessert seating once and for some reason the seating took forever and we were there early. Just want the most bang for my buck!

I was SO excited to see RDCT on the calendar for the first weekend of November! It looks like they'll be showing "regular" 9:30 time on Friday and Saturday of that weekend. I'm going to be there for a conference and it will be just me. So, no worries about finding a spot where my DDs can see or find space for all four people in our family to sit/stand. Given that, do you think I'll be able to find a good place to stand and watch if I get there at the last minute? I absolutely don't want to infringe on anyone's space, so if the more knowledgable think I should get there early, would you please give me an idea of how early to find a decent space for one person? I'd just stake out a spot early and people watch, but since I'll be conferencing during the day, I'm hoping to get the most out of my evening hours!!!
