NOVEMBER Exercise Challenge

An easy day, 30 min. elliptical, 20 min. weight circuit. Total=480/1300
 
40 minutes - 2.53 miles on treadmill.

I'm now at 370/1500 min.

I've been walking 960 min), strength training (20 min), and bike riding (45 min).

Julie, good luck to your DD in her fencing competition! :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2: Please let us know how she does, and how you survive working as a "runner"! It sounds like a really exciting weekend! :cool1:
 
OK! Add 80 more mintues for the last couple of days. Hope to add 40 more tonight! Have to get to the ATM tonight, so might as well walk since it is only 1mile away~

Yes, I really did sign up for this challenge!! Computerless for 4 days has put me behind in posting. 60 minutes of strength training on Friday, 53 minutes LR and 60 minutes strength training on Saturday, and 60 minutes strength training on Sunday for a total of 233 minutes. Puts me at 233/1000!
 
Did 30 today and 10 over the weekend (I know... sad :teeth: )

That puts me at a total of 135/800.
 
well, I went hiking today, the weather was gorgeous. I was out in the woods for over 3 hours, but I was with some really out of shape old ladies, LOL, and they kept making me stop so they could rest. :rolleyes1

I am just going to count it as 60 minutes, making my total 460/1200.

I had a good time though, and they were all really nice, just slow!!! :)
 
I am up to 585/2500. Not a bad start. I had to give up two days of exercise to go on a few dates - was it worth it??? No - both dates were busts. I will make up the time this weekend.

Please add an additional 65 minutes to my total. I did 20 minutes of strength training and 45 minutes on the treadmill. I've actually been running sprints...for the first time in years. :banana:

Another 75 for 555/1300. At this rate I should be tracking 1500...maybe next challenge (oh, riiiiight, December...I don't think so!)
 
Hello all, I just found this WISH board today and so I'm taking notes for next month and tracking myself this month to see what my goal should be for next when I join.

Does the "host" keep track of everyone's minutes or do we just post our own and keep our own running total? And from what I see, it's total minutes exercises, not just walking, running or other cardio, class, etc? Weight training counts towards the minutes as well?

Sorry for the "newbie" questions ... and thanks in advance for the answers and info!!! You guys are very inspiring!!

Disneymomforlife You're right on in your thinking. The host will keep a tally of everyone's minutes as they post them. And yes it's minutes exercised, any type of activity you deem exercise. Remember it's to motivate and encourage you, so it's up to you how you want to challenge yourself. Hope to see you in the next challenge!
