November Exercise Challenge: Turkeys look good stuffed. People? Not so much!

359/1300. Thanks Julie!

Not signing up this month, but I wanted to stop in & let everyone know that my hip replacement surgery went well. I am up & about, doing physical therapy at home. It's amazing how little activity it takes me at this point to get exhausted! Still have to be really careful not to damage the Dr's good work. The best news is that all the pain I was in pre surgery is gone! Makes it all worth it. Hopefully with the help of my PT, I will be back to a little more normal soon.

Julie, sorry to hear about your pump! Hope you've gotten everything fixed!

Nancy

Thanks for the well wishes, everyone! I'm feeling stronger every day. Hope to be back in some sort of exercise routine soon.

I'll keep checking in here. I don't want to break the habit! I know all of you will keep moving and make it to your goals this month! :cheer2::cheer2: I may not be able to exercise much, but I can still be a cheerleader, and believe me, my PT sessions really do seem like a workout even though under normal circumstances they would just be a light warm-up.

11/8 - 30 mins swimming
11/15 - 30 mins running

Took a week off due to injury - not sure what I have done but managed to hurt my leg running over the 6 & 7th weekend. Tried swimming last monday, which wasn't bad, but I'm thinking that I will probably have to go to the dr. My fear is a stress fracture which will put me out of my princess 1/2 training for awhile.... :headache:

Keep fingers crossed for me!

11/13 90 boot camp and cardio
11/15 70 strength and cardio

Nov. 16 - 75 cardio
Nov. 17 - 90 (70 strength/20 cardio)

Good to see everybody still moving and closing in on their goals! :cheer2::cheer2::cheer2:

As for me, I'm now able to walk 1/2 mile. Doesn't seem like much as compared to what I'm used to doing, but following surgery I'm told it's pretty good. I am now discharged from home PT and will start outpatient PT this week. I'll probably sign up for this challenge next month but I'm planning for a much lower goal than usual. I'll see what the outpatient PT involves first, then see what seems reasonable but still a bit of a challenge.
