i just booked akl for 7 nights in may with a pin code--but since that pin code is still good for more vacations, i wanted to go again later in the year to try more deluxes at a price that is more sensible to my budget!!

we just went the first week of november and besides the f/w rush in epcot, the crowds were light and it seemed like an amazing week. however, i for the first time missed the annual trip to charlotte with my friends. so i need to switch up my weeks.

i was thinking the 2nd week in november or the 2nd week in december?? has anyone been and have a suggestion on this??

also i'm kind of torn between boardwalk and contemporary. i'm contemplating upgrading to the annual pass and doing a split stay.. maybe?

i'm open to all suggestions since it's an "extra" trip.

thanks!! :cheer2:

We've done the second week in November twice - 2000 & 2008. We are booking for that same time frame next year. It is just a great time of year at WDW - good weather, light crowds, Mickey's Magical Christmas Party, our anniversary & our son's birthday!

Have fun choosing!

We are planning to spend the all 7 days in Disney in December 2010! but our family needs a villas in Disney World! but what villas should our family take

Stayed at AKL second week of December this past year and could not believe how light the crowds were!!! Just walked onto rides, which was fabulous with two little kids. The weekends are definitely more packed, but during the week was wonderful. It was so great that we just booked again for this coming year. This time doing the week after Thanksgiving and staying at the Contemporary.

Second week in November, before Thanksgiving week is a good time.

Second week in December is Pop Warner, but as long as you say you are trying out more deluxes, you won't get caught up in one of the value/mod resorts they are staying at and it won't essentially effect your vacation.

The weather has been hit or miss the last few years, the week after Thanksgiving when I go, but still nicer then at home. This year, one night it got down to mid 50's and at home it was snowing, so I wasn't complaining!

We have been the week of Veterans' Day before and are going again for that week this year (11/6-11/13.) Other than Veterans' Day the parks are not overly crowded at all, plus you get all the fun Christmas decorations and all. We are staying in a cabin at Fort Wilderness. With a family of six you can't beat the convenience or the variety of activities there.
