November 7, 2009 ~~~~ AHOY ST.CROIX ~~~~

Oh Linda, you are my hero. I can see myself wandering the ship all day to find everyone's cabin! LOL. If sense of direction was measured on a scale of 1 - 10, I am actually a negative 2. LMAO.

Ayuh, that's what I was afraid of. (Last september, when we had 130 families, had we not had a map, I'd have abandoned the effort.) The decks aren't identical, there are little nooks and crannies, and for a first timer, especially, it can get confusing. Not to worry, Laurie! We'll get it done!

Good Night, all!

Kathy -

Darn, that's a shame about the drivers licenses and plates! What bad timing (for more reasons than this, I'm sure!)

I'll keep you posted on a room number. We've already changed categories AGAIN today so I'll let you know when it's final!

You gave up the SPH? What cat did you get?

Christine

Hello everyone...hope everyone is doing ok. We have had lots of rain here today. Tim had the stomach virus all week and trying to get Nate ready for school. I'm tired can the cruise get here any faster. I need some true R&R:cloud9:.

Well I dont really know anything just wanted to check in to say hi. Shauna thanks again for getting the wrist bands for us.

Linda our family is in the list for the FE on page 29 and on my list. Kathy said she would update her list when she resends it. Let me know if you need my list to help you make yours.

OH OH I just noticed this is my 1,500 post....Yea me!

Ok, looks like my post last night about the wristbands has disappeared! Shauna, I'll take 1-large, 2-medium, 1- child. Thanks!

Christine

Good Morning everybody!

Looks like rain in the neighborhood this am. We had a huge thunderstorm yesterday afternoon - no damage here, but quite a bit south and east of us.

Have a great day!

Christine

I know, we're probably nuts. But, our room was the most obstructed of the 3(on each side) with 2 huge barrels in front of it and DH wasn't too excited. First we switched up to a Cat 6 but then decided we'd rather spend the $$ on other stuff so went back to our standard Cat 9, deck 2 Aft. It was an $800 difference between the 6 and 9!
Stay tuned, we still have time to switch around! LOL!:rolleyes1

I read that too, hooray!!! Last time we were on the Eastern Cruise, we really had to rush from customs to breakfast and through breakfast to make it to our meeting spot for our excursion.

Here's what I have so far for wristbands...
LindaBabe 2 (1L, 1M)
Laurie 4 (1L, 1M, 2S)
Traci 3 (2L, 1M)
Kathy 2 (1L, 1M)
Shauna 3 (1L, 1M, 1S)
glindamood 2 (2L)
Scott 7 (3L, 3M, 1S)
Christine 4 (1L, 2M, 1S)

Count us in....sokay168 & sasseeemt

Not sure on sizes yet but there are 12 of us. I will let you know as soon as they all get back to me.

Krista

Boy! IS it dead around here today. You'd think everybody had a LIFE!

I know can you believe it :confused3. Well we have a new addition to our family. We addopted a baby girl puppy from our local pound. She is two months old. With blonde hair and green eyes. We named her Zoey. I will post a pic soon. Hope everyone has a great sat night.

Boy! IS it dead around here today. You'd think everybody had a LIFE!

LOL! No "life" here, just busy this weekend with some back-to-school preparations (for Monday). Tomorrow we are off to EPCOT in the morning with Ashley's crew for another dose of Magic.:wizard:
Hope you're all having a fun weekend!

Congrats, Traci, on the new furry addition!

Hi everyone

So much for the beach this weekend, it's cooled off quite a bit, in the low 20s (low 70s to you) and raining off and on. Oh well, we are going to try again on Labour day weekend. Fingers crossed!
I started work on my FE, it is going to be awesome! I have to go and get a few more supplies tomorrow. I'll post a pic when it's all done, I am having fun making it. Then, it's on to making the FE gifts, which will also be fun. DH is even getting in on the fun, he picked up something for FE gifts today.

I hope everyone is having a great weekend.

BTW I had my weigh in today at Weight Watchers and I lost 4 pounds this week. This is unusual for me, but I was extra super careful with my food intake this week and guess what, it worked. Hooray!

TTYS!!

Congrats, Laurie!! Good job on the weight loss this week. This week for me is a dud. No gain, no loss. Guess I need to add some cardio, huh?

Traci, how fun to have a puppy! What kind of dog do you think she is?

I went dress shopping with DD today! She wanted to buy a "formal" dress for formal night (LOL, DH isn't even wearing a jacket...). Her BFF is going on an Eastern on Princess during Thanksgiving week, so they each wanted to buy a fancy dress. Guess that's the 7th grade girl coming out! SO after many to try on... we found an adorable one at Alfred Angelo Bridal (they had picked out styles online they thought they would like), and ordered it! DH doesn't know yet how much that cost. HAHA he still has a fit if he finds out their shoes cost $49.99. You can tell that he is not a shopper! And has never, ever, taken the kids clothes shopping. LOL! Anyway it was fun and the girls had a great time, each getting the "perfect" dress. I have a dress from formal night on our previous cruise that I'll wear again.

AND I've been shopping online for my vow renewal dress. It's just so hard when I can't try them on, ya know? I have a couple styles I like. Just need to DECIDE! I want a short, white-on-white hawaiian-print dress. DH will wear a matching white hawaiian shirt. I've been procrastinating getting the wedding gear- hoping to order a smaller size :rolleyes1. But I guess I should just do it!

Well, I tried to multi-quote but that was a bust!

Good Morning everybody!

New Puppy - What fun!:lovestruc And how busy you are going to be Traci, with training it and all. You're going to hate to leave her to go one the cruise.

Tiggerz = EPCOT! How cool is that that you live close enough to go for the afternoon?

Laurie, congratulations on the loss! That's awesome! My scale is "hovering" at the moment. Suddenly, I'll drop 3-4 pounds and then hover around it for 3 weeks or a month before the next drop. yesterday was +, tomorrow it may be minus. MAKES ME CRAZY. I did up my cardio, about 3 weeks ago - and it hasn't made one dang bit of difference!

SLP, Just DO IT! If you wind up smaller by November, you can always take the dress in.

Raining again here. We alternate between nothing and deluge. Why we can't just have a nice gentle rain . . .

Happy day, all!

LOVE puppies, just love them. She will bring lots of love and fun to your home. Good luck with the training.

Way to go on the loss - I was a + yesterday. I did try to be good, I really did.

Well - we are off to take a truckload of stuff down to Alma for Drew. I can't believe that he is back to school already, although I guess it is technically soccer camp. Take care all and have a good day.

Happy 75 day mark! Hope everyone has paid off their cruise.

I've updated the wristband list on page 62. We are almost at 50, so I'm sure we'll get to that price break. Maybe over the next month we'll get a few more orders and maybe even make it to 100+ for an even better price.

Yesterday I went shopping and found DD some fall/winter clothes. I'm so bummed that shorter days and cooler weather will be here before we know it, but it does mean that the cruise is getting closer. I just don't like winter and snow--that is the downside to living in Utah. I do like 70s and 80s, so I won't feel too bad when the days are a little cooler, but I'm just not ready for snow--which we usually start getting in October. Yesterday we broke a record for heat, it was 101 degrees and the record for August 22 was 99 degrees--too hot!

Happy Sunday everyone!

Here is a pic of our new puppy. She is so cute.

Howdy everyone,

Love Zoey, what a sweetie:cloud9:

We are cooler but still sunny and 75 which is nice. Back to the 80's next week.

We finally booked our excursions tonight after we got home. While I was unpacking from the weekend Greg got on the computer and started naming off things. One more thing done. YEAH!!!

If anyone out there still hasnt sent me their information its not too late.
We have about 15 families who were posting that havnt sent any information yet. I am hoping they will join back in the fun.:thumbsup2

I will check back in the morning , I am tired now.

Kathy

I will need 2 medium wristbands and 1 small. Let me know how much I owe you.

Traci, your puppy is adorable!!!! She kinda looks like a terrier. Too bad you can't bring her on the cruise. My husband is trying to figure out how to pass our mastiff off as a service dog so he can bring her.

75 and counting!!!!!

Good Morning, everybody!

That puppy sure is cute! It just kills me, I'm so allergic to fur bearers, and we both love them to pieces. Had a huge asthma attack in 2006 on the cruise and couldn't figure out why. Now though, we think that possibly a service dog had been resident in the room before we were - since my reaction was consistant with *DOG* - so we now request a deep clean of the stateroom on the medical form.

Up at 5:30, out to the gym and pool. Back to "even" on the weight - that's -33 for the year, but I was hoping for another 10 by cruise time. If the scale doesn't start moving, it isn't going to happen. I've been stuck at this spot for dang near a month. Oh well, philosophically, it's better than gaining, I guess.

Nice day here and the sun is out for a change. Don't grey skys get tiresome?

Happy Day, all!
