Thanks for the welcome Kathy! I am Karen and my DH is Scott. Our son is Peter. We're staying with some family who lives in Orlando the few days before the Cruise and, weather permitting, are planning to go to the Magic Kingdom on the Fri before we cruise. With the hot weather in May, Peter spent a lot of time in the stroller under a sunshade and he missed a lot of the sites. I think the weather will be much better for him to explore the Magic Kingdom and have some fun. I know what the FE gift exchange is and we'd like to participate. Do we do it on the 1st day or all the days of the cruise? What are the door signs? We can't wait for the trip. Thanks for starting this post so we can try to meet people before the Cruise.

I'll be off the boards for the next couple of weeks. Leave for Florida for 2 weeks. Then come home in time to send son to first year of college.

Paid off cruise today. Yeah! Now we have to go,right?

The weather should be really nice. Not sure which park we will do friday. MK is my favorite but Epot is Gregs favorite.

You can leave your gift anytime during the cruise. No set day or time, just when it fits into your schedule, so you wont miss any events on the ship.

Morning everyone,

Hope everyone is having a good saturday. Mine has been busy.
I tried to take Greg to a walk in urgent care for his hurt knee, but the first one was lclosed on weekends. The purpose of Urgent care is to be open weekends and evenings for people to work around work schedules, so then drove to the next town and found 2 Urgent cares and both were closed down?? Still listed on line though and have use done of them before. So then drove 40 minutes back home so Greg could lay down to relieve the pain.

Tomorrow will go the opposite direction to a different town where we know there is one and it is open on the weekend. I will call today to verify this.

That was not the way we had planned on spending the morning.

Now to relax and mess around on line before time for lunch. I am trying to decide on door signs too. I found Magnetic sheets at walmart. It was a smaller pack of 3 for $5.97. Usually its 5 to 7 in a package.

Back later to see if anybody posts today besides me.

Still a cloudy gloomy looking day here but we managed to get up to 67 degrees. This is crazy for August, we should be 90.

Could you please send some of that cool weather down South! Yesterday it was 101 degrees with 98% humidity!

You keep the humidity and then I will send you 20 degrees of coolness and you can send me 20 degrees of warmth, but not 101, I'm not that crazy

We lived in Florida for 8 years so I know all about that humidity.
Moved to Oregon around 4 years ago and now we freeze all the time. Hoping to move back to Florida again soon.

Last December you guys had some really cold weather, I was at WDW for 2 weeks and only brought one pair of long pants and one sweatshirt. It never got over 50 degrees the entire trip and a few days were actually 32 at the parks in the mornings.

So I want you to promise me you will save some of your heat (hot humidity) for our visit this year. I will arrive Oct 29th, so please talk with mother nature about that soon. 80 would be great with a slight breeze.
