Can't wait. Love these boards. All the information has been REALLY helpful in preparing for this trip.

Hope everyone had a great weekend! Only 27 days to go!!

I pulled out our suitcases today and started packing a few things. Dh gave me the eyeroll but I told him he'd better not utter a word.

Good to hear that someone got upgraded already. I told myself I won't check again till Tuesday but it is hard not to peek at the reservation to see if our cabin moved.

They say that getting there is half the fun, and surfing these boards in anticipation of the cruise definitely proves that saying.

Loved the ideas of things to bring - now have a list to include some clothespins, a small power bar or extension cord and a nightlight!!!

Sooooooo, who is dressing up for Pirate Night??????????

We will be dressing up. Not to much but enough.

My dh and I will be wearing black T- Shirts I got from Avon with a Skull and cross bones on it with black pants and the bandana they give you and I picked up some eye patches for us.

My daughter will be wearing white t-shirt, black capri pants and the bandana and eye patch. Nothing to fancy but we will hope to fit it with the theme.

Glad your crew will be dressing for Pirate Night Steph -
My DH went with the pirate t-shirt, eyepatch, headscarf from DCL route
DD was a pirate in a school play so I'll just pack that get-up.
I've got a very piratey shirt and am working on my hat. DD say's I'm obsessed with the whole pirate thing.

What, I ask, could be better than a pirate party on a cruise ship????

MEMO TO THE 11/4 CREW - DRESS UP FOR PIRATE NIGHT!!!!!!!!!

I weakened and peeked at my reservation and was glad I did.
REMINDER for those who booked airfare through DCL - your flight information is now available on your reservation page since we are inside the 30 day mark.

I had to move my DD's seat on our return flight because for some reason they had separated our party and seated her 15 rows in front of us, even though the 3rd seat in our row was available. Hopefully, we will remain reunited and not scattered throughout the aircraft.

My son has a shirt, eye patch, hook and bandana so he's set. I'm going to Tarjay tonight so I'll see if there's something for dd. Dh is a team player so I'm sure he'll want us to dress up, too.

I have to admit I did the same thing over the weekend. I just wanted to check to see if the suitcase of choice would hold what i wanted to pack, or if I'd have to take another bag. Well, it holds everything i wanted to take, so it's in there now till the trip. This is rediculous it's 24 days till we leave and my stuff is packed already

No upgrade for me so far. I just checked yesterday. On my first cruise, I did get an upgrade and I can't remember how far out before the cruise I found out. I also wait listed us for early dining and I'm still listed on the second seating. I guess I won't find out about that until we are onboard.

I haven't started packing yet (that will wait until the day before), but I am wondering if it will be cool on the ship at night. I've only cruised in March and May before and it was warm at night as well. Maybe I should bring a pair of jeans and a hoodie just in case.

I saw those shirts but I already got mine. That was a good price.

I found out today that I will be going to the same restaurant on Monday and Tuesday for dinner. I have reservation for Palo on Wednesday night. Do you think when I get on the ship I can try and change that ressie so I don't miss any of the restuarants. Would like to go to Palo on Monday night instead of Wednesday. Tuesday is Pirate night for us.

We will be going to Atlantis in Nassau on Monday but will come back early evening for dinner on the ship at Palo if I can get a ressie for Monday.

We're doing that as well; did you get a room at Atlantis or Comfort Suites (or did you do it through DCL)? We got the CS room.

I called up DCL and they told me.

We will properly get a room at CS too. Haven't done that yet. Still rooms available.

The only problem with the CS room it doesn't come with the aquaruim and my daugther wants to do that. I was told by a friend if you go to Atlantis in the down stairs area of the lobby there is a cart that you can purchase day passes for $86.00 a person and everything is included.

Do you know if the aquaruim is included in the CS package. It didn't say that it was on there website.

Hi everyone! I've been keeping tabs on everyone's plans....just too busy to sit down and type something! We still have our connecting cat 10's....I doubt we will be upgraded since we have 2 rooms though. For those that have been upgraded did they notify your travel agent first (or did you book directly with DCL)?
We will be dressing up for the Pirate night! My husband is obsessed about this. I already have a costume for the baby and the birthday boy. Yesterday I found an Elizabeth Swann costume for my 9 year-old. Now of course the 7 year old wants to be Elizabeth too......My husband figures this won't be our last cruise (must be listening to me! ) so he'll (we'll)be using the costume again.
We will probably do something simple in Nassau (since 2 of our kids are so young) The "zoo" sounds interesting.
We have early dinner rotation (we had late originally and waitlisted for early.)
We've started packing some. I thought I could pack all the summer stuff by now but the weather has been so warm still! Yesterday I was thinking that in 4 weeks I will be sitting on the beach in Castaway Cay....drink in hand.....

There will be alot of 9 year olds on the ship. The kids should have alot of fun plus the adults too with drink in hand .

I finally acquired the bouncing "Boo" Mickey for my signature.

If anyone would like to be Boo'd, please let me know and I will be happy to Boo my fellow shipmates.

DH and DD are going to do the DCL Atlantis Excursion. I'd like to go to Atlantis to take pictures, peek into the Casino, and see the Acquarium so I'll check what tour will suit my desires without the waterpark option.

Glad to hear that many are getting in to the Spirit of Pirate Night and will be dressing for the festivities.
