Any groups of 2 contemplating getting a room at Comfort Suites while we are in Nassau?? I'm sure everyone knows that if you have a room there you have full access to The Atlantis Resort...pools, slides, everything!! My son and I did this last cruise and it worked out great... unfortunately our budget is a bit tighter this time around and we are hoping to find someone to share the room cost with...it comes with 4 passes to the Atlantis Resort.... 2 for us and 2 for you... The total cost for the room would be just over $200.00...so it would run each of us just over $100.00. Let me know if any of you are interested.
Can't believe we are only 44 days away!!!

Was thinking about doing that and would be interested in spliting the cost but I have a daughter who is 8 years old and we are a total of 3.

Stephanie...
I'll call and check tomorrow to see how they would handle a "family of 5" as far as the Atlantis passes go.... I'll keep you posted (no pun intended!!) :rotfl2:

Hi everyone - drc - The pictures were awesome of the Magic! You did a great job!! The excitement is building, isn't it? More people posting who are going on this cruise.
ChrisLei - our flight is 8:35am on 10/31 from Newark (Continental). Will you guys be on the same flight?
CometMom- Welcome! What you are doing is a real "Grand Gathering"!:goodvibes

I almost thought we were on the same flight! We will be flying around the same time but via Jetblue. Did you say you were staying in a Disney resort prior to? Maybe we will see each other when waiting for the Magical Express bus!

We are a family of 4 on this cruise. :yay: We've cruised DCL before a few times and even though the rest of my family doesn't seem to be getting excited, I on the other hand cannot wait to be on the ship again.

I am interested in finding out more about the hotel you get to have full access to Atlantis? Can someone please pm or post the details for me?

We've already done 'the Dig' tour but didn't have any access to any pools.

Hi All,
That Atlantis day does sound pretty tempting......what are the details?? How old are your kids tyedye? My DD is 3 and will hopefully find some friends in the care area for Mommy and Daddy's Palo and Massage reservations! I don't want her to miss us too much! Did we all plan a place and time to connect and meet?? Maybe on the ship at 5:30pm by the Mickey pool???

Thanks Henlady! My DH is actually up in your neck of the woods right now. He is in Appollo,PA, Westmoreland County. He's excited, he actually got some tickets to see the Steelers play!! He says your having some beautiful weather, hope our weather is good for the cuise!

Yes, we are having some beautiful weather. Yesterday was almost perfect and it looks like the same for today (Saturday). I know exactly where Apolo is. I was born in Westmorland County, but now we live about 2 hours east of there. Lucky for your Dh to get those Steelers tickets. The new stadium is very nice. It is just a real pain to get around Pittsburgh with all the road repairs/construction stuff going on. My DD lives about 10 minutes from the Steelers stadium
My DH and son are in Virginia this weekend on one of their twice a year golf trips. I don't mind, it gives me a weekend of peace and quiet and of doing whatever I want.

And, our cruise weather is going to be perfect too. I won't take anything else. On our first cruise, we ended up with a day of Hurricane Wilma and I don't particularly want to do that again. I "wasted" the day day at sea in bed because the rocking threw my equilibrium off. That was no fun, but I did get a lot of rest.

tyedye.... Welcome to our growing little group.:flower3: :grouphug:
I can't help you with any first hand knowledge about the Atlantis/Room thing, but from what I have read of others experiences, you supposedly can get a room at the Comfort Inn near the Atlantis and that will give you full access to the pools/facilities at the Atlantis Resort. You could probably go onto the Comfort Inn website and put in Nassau as your destination and get information on the hotel there. It seems that a fair amount of people on cruises do this.
I hope it works out for you, it looks like their pools, slides, etc would be a childs paradise (and for some adults too).

THANK YOU WE ALL LIVE IN CENTRAL JERSEY. WE HAVE AT LEAST 2 8YEARS OLD DD WITH US. :cheer2:

The two DD have to meet up with my 8 year old DD. Will they be doing the camp on the ship. My daughter can't wait for that. She loves making new friends.

Hi ChrisLei - We are staying at Beach Club before the cruise. Doing MNSSHP on Halloween (arrival day- we plan to get a catnap before heading to MK). Where are you staying? We may be "stacked-up" next to each other on the runway; I'll look for a JetBlue and give a wave!

Hi CometMom - we are also in Central Jersey (Monmouth County). Just the hubby and myself on this trip; granddaughters 12 and 8 were at WDW in July. We hope some day to share a Disney trip with them - they go every year!! (lucky them).:thumbsup2

Did we all figure out a time to meet each other? Your idea sounds OK to us - what's eveyone else think? That's about when the sailaway party is going on, right? We might check that out from deck 10... don't want to miss those left behind on land "waving" us goodbye with the "Mickey hands". Does it sound too corny to say that thinking about hearing the ships' horn sound "when you wish upon a star" gives me goosebumps? :yay:

Actually, our flight leaves Newark at 8:45am, arriving in Orlando 11:37am. Maybe we will see you all while waiting to Magic Express bus! :thumbsup2
