Hi all!
Cindy ~ thanks for the info. A couple more questions. Is there a map showing what booth is where?
Should I have received my Parkhopper with my cruise docs?
Happy anniversary & many more healthy happy ones!
Have a great weekend!

Hi all!
Hygiene99 ~ thanks for the info. I checked out the cost to upgrade to an outside or balcony but it's not worth that amount of money to me.
Cindy ~ glad you had a happy anniversary. I saw on the other site where you could print out a map of the Festival area. It sure messed up our computer when I tried to print it.
There was over 20 jobs queued up but DH got it done for me.
Yes I'm staying in a Disney resort so will look forward to getting my parkhopper at checkin.
Will anybody be dressing like a pirate for the party?I'm looking forward to seeing the fireworks, that'll be a first for me on a ship!
I hope the weather is better than last year before my Freedom cruise, seems to me it was cold & rainy. Fingers crossed for sunny & warm with no storms.
Take care.

Hi Jo,
DH and I wear pirate t-shirts, and striped headscarves with Mickey ears on them. DH might go with the gold earring and eye patch, too.
The fireworks aren't as good as the ones in the parks, but they are still fun to watch.
Don't forget that after the pirate party there is a huge buffet set up with pizza, turkey legs, and other goodies, including a ton of delicious desserts. I think it's on Deck 9? Somebody correct me if I'm wrong. It's in a semi-enclosed area, but you can take your plate over to the pool area to eat. I always forget to eat lightly at dinner that evening so that I can enjoy those yummy desserts. Hopefully I'll remember this time

Does anyone have any suggestions on where I can get some Pirate Costumes? Can't seem to find any at the Disney Store or any of the local Halloween Stores...I'm going to check online and hope it's not too late to order something, however; if anyone has a specific URL website, please forward it my way, thanks...

Hi all!
Bev ~ thanks for the pirate info. DD was a pirate in a skating show 30+ years ago & I still have her costume! Probably the headband & eye patch would fit me!
Yesterday I went to Walmart & bought a cheap one size fits all but they did have more in higher prices too. They had mens Pirate & ladies Wench costumes.Sure hope this one fits!
The weather's been cold & rainy here the last few days but the leaves are still beautiful.
Are they nice where you are too? I can hardly wait to see palm trees & pretty blue water in 3 weeks!
Have a great weekend.

Hi all, just checking in ....
We are lucky enough to be going on another cruise in Jan
on the Inaugural Disney Dream.
Don't forget the meet and Greet at 3PM the first day of the Cruise in the Lobby area? that would be the area that you board the ship, Correct?
Lucky you to join the inaugural cruise on the Dream. We hope to be on her December 11, 2011 for the 4-day cruise. Hey, too bad there's not a cruise on 11-11-11.
Haven't had much feedback on the 3pm meet and greet the first day, but hopefully some DIS folks will show up. I'll post it on PassPorter, too. Yes, it would be in the lobby atrium where you board the ship on deck 3, to the left of the gangway as you enter, near the entrance to Triton's restaurant. There's a statue of Ariel in front of the restaurant that serves as a good landmark/meeting place. It would be fun to meet a few fellow cruisers so we can recognize familiar faces as we sail and enjoy shore excursions and Castaway Cay. A group photo would be nice, too.
