November 30, 2013 Eastern Caribbean on the Fantasy

just to update some of the newbies...here are a few activities we are contemplating...if you have any ideas, please let us know!!

1. Meet & greet

2. Pink champagne girls - getting our pink on with a little bubbly...you don't need to drink to join and have a great time...oh, to not discriminate, men are more than welcome to join, as long as they have their pink on. There will also be a photo-op, small part of the greet (beginning or after) for the little pinkettes, ladies-in-waiting.

3. As we most know, the worse part of the aqua duck is the dismount...there is talk of a "the most graceful dismount" contest.

4. The men are planning a brotherhood get-together where a scared stein is required. Just don't scare it too bad, because they are fragile!

5. The possibility of a scavenger hunt....may get a little naughty...:rolleyes1

6. Secret mickey (kind of like a secret santa)

7. Of course, can't forget the fish exchange!!

We are going to be a busy bunch, and plan on having a lot of fun!! Don't feel like you need or have to participate in any or all activities...i'm sure there are some that are going to just relax and not want to worry about meetings and such...however, if nothing else, i'm sure i'm speaking for everyone....we hope at a minimum you will make the meet and greet, so we can all put a face to the name!!

hmmmmmm what should i wear pink, i will see what they have at senor frogs in st thomas in 4 weeks, hmmmm maybe a pink senor frogs speedo and shirt. Lolol!!!! Ok laura would dis own me, lolol!! Looking forward to a scavenger hunt!!!!!!

Good morning everyone!!

A scavenger hunt sounds like fun. We always go to the meet n greet even if we dont do a lot of other stuff.

I am in middle of making a count down chain for this cruise. It will begin the middle of February and count down to 11/31. This will be the longest one I have ever done. I think it will propbably stretch all around the family room and then some.:lmao:

I have one for our 3 day Dream cruise in the Family room right now but its not very long since we just booked it.

Have a great day everyone,
I'll check back in later today,

Kathy

Hi, Peggy! I have twin sons that will also be 7-years-old when we cruise. Maybe we can introduce our sons to each other. Did your son enjoy the kids clubs on your other cruise?

Last trip, Houston was 4 and while the clubs were fun for him, they were also a bit overwhelming. We really had had a good time doing many of the family activities too so he didn't spend too much time in the clubs. He has Sensory processing issues so the timing was important too, the staff was great about telling us which times would be calmer and when to avoid.

This time, he is talking lots about the clubs and can better manage his SPD. I feel like that will help so much!

I think he would love to have some buddies! Tell me about your sons and I'll start to introduce them. I know he would have fun exchanging letters and pictures via mail, if you think your guys would like to do that. Maybe even set up a chance to Skype? Let me know what you think.

I forgot to include that we are in room 6162, with late dining.

I'm wondering if the whole roll call list is participating in the FE? Or is there a separate list? How many are joining in on that? My son and hubs had so much fun w/ that last time but I stressed over it. They delivered the goodies, I did all the assembling, packing, etc. :)

Thanks for being a living, growing group to participate in the next 11 months of excitement!!! It adds so much to the wait, getting to know some new friends!

There's a separate list for the FE. But from what I have read it looks like most want to do the FE. Try not to stress over it. It's all in fun. Maybe you can help deliver hem this time too. I love delivering them for a couple of reason. 1. It's fun to give people gifts. 2. It gives me a chance to see lots of great door signs and decorations around the hallways.

People really go all out decorating their doors a lot. I love seeing all the decorated doors.:goodvibes

Good morning everyone,

It's cool and rainy in Florida this morning. Makes me wish I was on the ship in the warm Islands today.

I am making a countdown chain for this cruise. I hope to start it about the 300 day mark.;)

That will be one LONG chain!! I figure it will wrap around the family room, maybe more!! I have 80 links cut so far for the chain. I hope to get them all cut out by the weekend. Then next week I will number them and decorate a few of the links. I will probably store it in a box until time to hang it up.

Thisis the longest chain I have ever made. Usually I do a 30 day countdown chain. Should be fun.

Have a great day everyone,

I'll drop back by later today to see what's happening here today,

Kathy

Hi there! Julia here! I am handling the FE and on the FB page at the top is a section called "files" in there is the list of people participating in the FE.

Good morning all,

Heading out to Epcot today. I think they are having their Marathon runs this weekend so we will cheer on the last of the runners as they finish. If we get there in time. We are kind of slow this morning.

Have a great day everyone,

Back this evening,

Kathy
