November 3, 2012 - Election Escape Eastern!!

Welcome, We are in Mercer county.
How old will DS and DD and cousins be on the trip? My DD will be 11.

My DS is 8 & DD will be 7. Cousin DD10 & DS8. It's going to be a surprise for all the kids.

Well, and the hurricane hit 7 months ago and we still have another 7 months before DCL goes so I'm certain they know it will be fine! :goodvibes

Thanks we can't wait. I can't wait to see what more info comes.out about he boat as it starts its cruises this weekend. Does anyone know a good place to find out more about the islands we will be stopping at? My brother in-law keeps telling me skip St thomas and go to St john instead. :confused3

My future wife and I will be on our honeymoon on this Cruise. its our first cruise and first Disney cruise. :cool1:

:welcome: and CONGRATS!!! How wonderful!! I agree, DCL is a great way to honeymoon!

I think it would depend what you want to do....I love the snorkeling excursions on St. Thomas but I haven't done anything on St. John, so I don't really feel I can make a recommendation.

San Juan, I don't know anything yet....I haven't been to the DCL website to check...do they have excursions listed yet?

i downloaded this cruise mate app on my phone for the fantasy and it has some listed there but i don't think it is complete yet. Is this cruise the first time DCL is going to San Juan?

I believe so. I booked almost a year ago while on board the Dream, so I'm not 100% certain, but I do believe it is the first San Juan Port call. I know San Juan is what sold me on this cruise....

I'm pretty sure it is... from the site it says they start in Nov and this is the first Nov one. The price was certainly higher for this cruise than the others in the month and before in October as well, so I was just accepting it as fact that it was the 'first' and that was why...

This is also " Unofficial New Jersey Week" so that also seems to raise the prices on both the cruise and at WDW!

Oh my I have a lot of catching up to do! Sorry I haven't been around, I've been spending so much time on the main board absorbing all I can about the Fantasy! Also, I forgot to subscribe to this thread so I'm going to do that now. Hope to join in on the chat Apr 6!

A question for Jersey/SE PA folks--Has anyone booked flights yet? Any good deals? Last year we drove down to Baltimore and flew out of there. Saved several hundred $ even with the gas/tolls/parking and baggage fees! But so far this year, I'm not seeing the savings.

We're going to Jetty Park tomorrow for the Fantasy's inaugural send off! I can't wait!
:cool1: :yay:

Hi Shell, Steve, Diane, Jeff, and everyone else - we just switched to this cruise today (had Christmas one booked). Our school calendar came out today and I am off that week. Yippee! Couldn't resist cruising with you guys again!!!

Girls still know nothing about it (seems familiar, huh?)

Booked air today and room Friday night at Saratoga.
