We arrive on Nov. 28!:bounce: :bounce: :bounce:
All we have left to do is pack! Of course, we will have to take the dog to the kennel before we leave. Oh, yeah--I have to cook Thanksgiving dinner for the family. Maybe pull out the Christmas decorations for the house. And here I thought I didn't have much to do!

My DH and I will be there already celebrating our 1st anniversay (which is 11/29).
We still need to pack, buy tickets, travelers checks, and make ressies for T'day dinner (at Universal)

I leave on the 24th...I'll start packing on the 23rd, mostly because it isn't too difficult to pack summer clothes....I just look for the clothes that haven't been worn in a few months!

The Saturday prior, I'll take all my change to the bank to get my spending money. The morning of, I'll take my dog to my parents, catch the bus downtown for work, catch a bus back and have my dad pick me up and take me to the airport.

I have been ready to go now for about 3 months ( )
All I have to do now is pack.

I spent the day on Tuesday wrapping christmas presents, so I'm even ready for that.

Now all I do is go on these boards and ask any last minute questions I can think of.

We have packing to left to do.

I have read that you should triple check all your reservations 2 weeks prior. Other then that, another little shopping trip for small items and packing!

1. Wait by the mailbox for the Stitch pins I won on Ebay for DS. (she has a great rating and says she mailed them Fri. I believe her) edited to add that they arrived today!
2. Figure out how I'm going to hide the "surprises from Tinkerbell" in the car for our 2 1/2 day drive.
3. Finish up one paper and two essays (I'm getting my Master's from OU as a distance learner)
4. Load the 10 mos. worth of 'stuff' I've been saving (Dollar store ponchos, those little bags of cereal from Target, detergent and Palmolive wipe samples, etc...)
5. Get all my change counted at the bank (ours has a free machine)
6. Pack for 4 kids and myself (I've already got lists)
7. Renew my driver's licence (it expires in Nov.)
8. Get through Thanksgiving Day

I can't wait!!

1. Pack
2. Arrange for house/pet sitter to watch over 2 dogs (one of which will be delivering at least six pups hopefully before we leave :earseek: )
3. Plan for "small" birthday party for ds the weekend before we leave
4. Cook several side dishes for Thanksgiving dinner.
5. Finish most of the Christmas shopping on black Friday and begin decorating
6. Visit with tons of relatives

The good news is that if I can tackle most of this, when I get back I can just lay back and enjoy the holidays. The pups will probably keep me busy though.

Have a great day everyone!!

I guess similar to others:
Decorate the entire inside and outside of my house for Christmas
Pack
Attend nephews B-day party
Dye my hair
Have my monthly facial appt.
Take dog and cat to kennel.
Oh, yeah and lose that last 10 pounds!
:hyper:

We have just under 3 weeks left, I'm feeling a little overwhelmed:crazy: but extremely excited!! I have planned the entire holiday for our family and am glad I did most well ahead of time!:D
Still have to:
1. Find a boarding kennel for our cats:cat: :cat:
2. Pack for 6:eek:
3. Decorate the outside and inside of our house like the Griswald's off the movie "Christmas Vacation"--the neighbors expect that our house will be covered in its usual thousands of lights(we figured that we pretty much have to do this as it would be extremely obvious that our home was empty if we didn't--if we didn't put up the usual it would be like a big "WELCOME" sign to anyone wanting to break in!)
4. Figure out how to use our new digital camera before we go:confused:
5. Try to find new van before we drive down:moped:
6. Decorate my parents house for Christmas as I will be home only days before Christmas and I love:lovestruc to do it for them
7. Help 4 kids get all of their school work that they will miss done

........plus continue working full time, spend 6 days a week at ice rink with hockey and figure skating, chauffer my son who plays bagpipes to his events and practice over an 1 1/2 hours away, finish up the end of Christmas shopping---the list goes on and on!! It's sounds like I'm complaining but really I'm not--it's just that feeling of "so much to do and not enough time!!
But you know what? It's all worth it to be able to spend time with my family at my most favorite place!:sunny: :cloud9: :grouphug:

We leave the Friday after Thanksgiving around 3am...if I can get everyone out of bed! The only thing I have done is purchase my MVMCP tickets. I did make one list of foods and drink items I want to bring, but thats it!!!!! My DH wants us to "wing" this trip...MEN!
