As luck would have it for out-of-town cruisers, the launch of the Mars Curiosity rover was moved to Saturday at a time no earlier than 10:02am. Go here for an article about it: http://www.floridatoday.com/article...dger-Curiosity-piques-launch-Mini-Cooper-Mars

Basically, look south (better yet, ask wherever you are staying or hanging out at the time) at or around launch time - it should be quite the way to kick off the cruise. However, launches occasionally are postponed due to glitches...so all we can do is hope that it gets under way.

Looking forward to getting back on the boat!

You can follow the launch status on SpaceFlightNow at the link below.

The rocket was rolled to the pad this morning, so things are looking good, so far.

We are planning on arriving at the port by 9:45 and then going to Jetty Park (just east of the port) for the launch. Hopefully it gets off the ground.

Launch window is 10:02 till 11:45.

Well I'm back at work today. It sure was a fun cruise, now back to reality. The room is still swaying though! I want to thank everyone that participated in the FE for the gifts. My kids had so much fun getting them. I really loved the mousepad idea, whoever did that, I had trouble keeping track!:thumbsup2 Did anyone have Jen from England as one of their dining room servers? She had been one of our favorites and I just learned after the fact that she had just moved from the Wonder to the Magic on this cruise.

My kids had so much fun! We're already planning our next cruise. I loved the night light FE gift, totally useful and I had forgotten ours. The FEs kept my kids from going too stir crazy - especially w that extra sea day.

The trip was so wonderful- We loved seeing all of the FE's They were all so different! The gifts were all so creative too! I know my grandkids loved all of them.
Our servers were Putu and Jackson and we enjoyed them so much! :yay: we had a great time with Trevor! :dance3:That game -Match Your Mate- was hysterical- great job to those 3 couples. We were the 40 yr married couple that were not sitting together:laughing: We've already book our next one for 2013 on the Fantasy. Now the next countdown.:thumbsup2 Thanks for the Scavenger Hunt. My seven yr old DGD enjoyed looking for the items Everyone did such a super job on the FE's Thanks

We wanted to also thank everyone who participated in the FE exchange. You guys were amazing!! I have never been in a better one in my 11 cruises. We loved the variety of gifts and we certainly enjoyed the sweets, too! I hope everyone has a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!!!

We had a wonderful First Disney cruise as well! My kids loved checking for the FE Gifts and we loved the night lights! I forgot ours! I did the mousepads, tried to come up with something I hadn't seen on here before so glad you liked it! Don't forget you can slide your own pictures in there. :)

I would also like to thank everyone in the FE, the gifts were great! It was our first one. The nightlights and bags came in very handy! Thanks everyone for making our first cruise such an awesome experience!
We had Dobo as our server and he was amazing! I felt like a princess at every meal!

We got back from our cruise/WDW late Sunday night, Dec 4th. We had a fantastic cruise, but the last week has been beyond tough. Monday (first day back to school for our ds14), 5 teens from his high school (New Oxford, PA) were killed in a horrific car accident leaving school. It's been awful, but the love and support of our community and neighboring communties has been astonishing. We've been to memorials, vigils and fundraisers all week. 4 funerals were today, one tomorrow. So sad and shocking.

We rebooked for a 11/30 Fantasy cruise with DH's extended family. They live all over the US and we only see them every 2 years while on cruises. We also booked the 4 of us on a 4 day Dream cruise and a 3 day Dream Cruise for Dec 2012 and Dec 2013 respectively that we intend to transfer for the 10% and OBC if another cruise we are interested in comes out for the Magic or Wonder in 2013. The deposits of $153 and $255 were unbeatable for the Dream cruises as "ghost" cruises.

We were very happy with our servers and room host, our Adventure Park excursion in Cozumel, the Old Town Conch Trolley tour in Key West, and the weather for most of the cruise. We enjoyed running into some of the staff we have met on past cruises (and were surprised they remembered our names!)Our boys had a fun time and enjoyed the Oceaneer's Lab and Vibe. The first couple days and last night were a little more rough ship movement wise than on most of our past DCL cruises, but none of us actually got sick so we were happy with that. We had Palo dinner, brunch and high tea and enjoyed them all immensely. We really enjoyed the comedian/magicians/balloon guy and loved Disney Dreams. We enjoyed Twice Charmed and tried to love Villians Tonight, but it just remains not our favorite.

We stayed at Kidani Village at Animal Kingdom Lodge before and after the cruise. We loved our villa/room and it continues to be our favorite resort. We went to all 4 parks here and there for our favorite rides and parades and some great meals (Crystal Palace twice, Chef Mickeys, Chef De France, Trails End and Whispering Canyon). We were pleasantly pleased with Trails End Buffet, which was our first meal at that restaurant.

We were thrilled we were able to see the Mars rocket launch and had a perfect view on the top of the DCL terminal parking garage. I hope everyone enjoyed their trip as much as we did!
