Sheadley: With the overall agreed date to close the FE and that being this friday the list on Google S/S I was going to add a column so that each member can log in and verifiy there information and check if it is correct. "giving a few day deadline" I have found in the past as you get closer some members drop off. Give me your opinion on this or if you have a list and don't want to use the google sheet that is ok also. Also are you receivng any PM's

Hello all! I have updated the list AGAIN! So glad our FEE is getting bigger! Now I have to start getting crafty. Or if I run out of time, fork over some MOOLA for gifts!

I would say yes, let's meet in the Promenade lounge at 3pm for a quick meet and greet so we can put some faces to names. It'll be nice to recognize some of you during the course of the cruise.

And yes, I heard that FE do tend to get stolen. And magnets and such. It is a good idea to zip tie your FE to the hanger outside your door. I also did hear the magnets that are personalized (with names on them) get stolen a LOT less. So, maybe a thought to put a name on most of them. Also, Some ppl reserve some of their magnets on the inside of their doors just in case some get taken, they have backup to put out later. Just another thought.

Can't believe it's almost here. I would say we should close the FEE list at 30 days. Everyone agree? That way, if there are lurkers out there, they have a few days to still join.

And I do get notifications on my iphone but it's hard to edit the list on the iphone so I usually wait till there are a few things to edit and do them all at once. But now that we're so close, I will edit as they come in. Thanks for being patient.

Maybe 2 weeks prior to the cruise is a good deadline for confirmation? That way we have enough time to finalize the gifts for those who are participating. Thanks for the google s/s, I used it while shopping for supplies/gifts for the FE. It was so convenient!

I am getting so excited for our cruise and can't wait to meet everyone! We are still planning on participating in the FE exchange. We are driving in on the Friday before so we leave in 30 days! My FE is made and I am working on our gifts.
On the list my dh's name is spelled with two ts and it is just Garret. Sorry I am not sure how to update it on the google list.
We probably won't be participating in the ornament exchange, but it does sound fun.
I'm anxiously awaiting our room assignments and will update when we receive them. Thanks to everyone who is organizing everything. See you all soon!

The list is OFFICIALLY closed. It kind of exploded that last few days and now it is a month away so it's CLOSED!

Thank you for putting together the S/S. What an awesome tool to have. This makes it so much easier. This is also my confirmation that we are still in for the FEE.

I think 3pm would be a good time for all us to meet in the Promenade Lounge. Is there really a place called the Promenade Lounge on the Wonder? Forgive me, I just dont know any names of the rooms yet.

Also, I think we are going to pass on the ornament exchange. I'm barely going to have enough time for FE gifts and life. Cool idea though.

I think we should also give everyone until November 8th to confirm if they are in the FEE. Anyone who does not respond, I can send a PM to and if they don't respond by the 10th, we will consider them out. Sound okay?

Good Morning,

I wanted to check and see if you will be putting a note board on your cabin door for the updated cabin changes made at the pier. If so I will note this on the Google S/S - This also can be done at the meet and greet prior to the sail a way.

For the Ornament Exchange I am waiting for the daily Navigator to be posted - I am hoping to pick a slow time with minimal activities on the sea days of Monday or Tuesday maybe around 3pm. Once they are posted I will also post it on the thread.

Please count us as confirmed for the FE Exchange. We have our FE ordered and have started on our gifts.

We have a vacation planning family session scheduled for Monday night and I will ask my family then if they want to do the ornament exchange. It sounds like a really fun activity. My DH is already concerned that I have bit of more than I can chew with all that I have going on and preparing for a cruise. We will discuss the ornament exchange and I'll let you know Monday night or Tuesday morning, if that is okay.

WardFam - We will be driving down to L.A. also and will be driving through Ogden on the way. We will probably rest up at my parents house in Sandy for a night to break up the trip. According to google maps we have a 15+ hour drive. I'm really hoping for good weather and NO snow. At least not until we get back.

Sheadley - Thanks for the list of tips for the cruise. It got me thinking about what to pack clothing wise. How warm do you think it will be? It's hard to think about packing shorts when it is 34 degrees outside right now.

Ha. Was thinking the same thing this morning as I woke to frost on the grass. I'm mostly packing summer stuff. Probably an all purpose jacket/sweater for each of us. It does get windy on the top decks. And probably 1 pair of jeans for each person. I WILL be doing 1 or 2 loads of laundry the middle of the week so I don't have to pack so much.

Also, is anyone planning on shipping a package to the ship ahead of time? I'm thinking about it.

franandaj: Typically during an ornament exchange everyone brings a Christmas ornament; typically there's an agreed upon limit (for example: $10 per ornament). One way to exchange ornaments is by playing the game"White Elephant." (type in the term "White Elephant" or "Dirty Santa" to read about the game rules).

I have a really fun suggestion for the group - Seeing that we have two days at sea - In a prior group in December we did a Ornament Exchange "Disney Themed" "White Elphant Exchange" There is a dollar value of $10.00 minimum and everyone could join. We would just meet in one of the lounges. It gives you that extra vacation memorabilla. The Ornament does not have to be a Disney Ornament.
