Qs, as im in the throws of packing -

how much warm clothes are u packing? pants, jeans, sweaters? (not taking account formal-wear.)

Qs, as im in the throws of packing -

how much warm clothes are u packing? pants, jeans, sweaters? (not taking account formal-wear.)

I take one pair of jeans, one sweatshirt, a light sweater and a sweatshirt jacket, 2 pairs of shorts, one swimsuit and cover, 2 t-shirt top and 2 everyday tops for everyday wear, one pair sandals and one pair tennis shoes.

Dinner 2 pairs slacks, 3 blouses and a jacket or sweater so i can mix and match so it looks like different outfits. One dress or skirt and top, black sandals that will go with all the dinner clothes, plus pirate clothes.
I pack as little as possible. I have learned not to over pack which is what most people do.
If I know i am going to buy t-shirts for souvenirs on board or on the islands then i dont pack any. I wear what i buy to save room.

I can hardly believe the cruise is almost here.

I am trying to stay busy to help the time go by but its hard to not stop and day dream about the cruise.

I have e-mailed out the FE lists to everyone. Group B has not changed since Janice sent it out. Group A should have the updated rooms.

If you sent an e-mail to either Janice or Me and did not receive a FE e-mail, please let me know.

I will have some extra copies with me at the meet & greet.

If you can not make the meet & greet, but still need a copy, please just leave a note with your room number in my FE (Room 8146) and I will try to leave a copy in your FE.

I know, it is creeping up on us faster than I can think. Janice only has 1 day before she is on the Fantasy for 14 days.

How many of you had work just blow up with issues and things? It has been hectic around here.

The Fantasy is beautiful! It's similar to the Dream in some ways, but I found it a little easier to navigate. Can't wait!

Found the swim diapers! Do you still need them? It is a brand new (unopened) package of Huggies Swim diapers "Little Swimmers" disposable Swimpants, size LARGE (32+ lb), 17 diapers

thanks Kathy for your packing list. im also tryin to not overpack.. for us its 10 days, w/2 kids.. im tryin to see what i can skip, and maybe do laundry on ship.. ?
so i was gonna take 1 jeans/1 sweater for cold times.. i hope thats good enough. ur right we might buy souvenir t shirts etc, too.

If your in Florida for a day or two before the cruise we are suppose to be mid 70's for highs and mid 50's for lows. ( that can change)So evenings and mornings you will need long pants and long sleeve top.


The last 3 days have been have been cloudy and cool here. It 68 degrees at 1:20 this afternoon.

Thats cold for here this time of the year.

Kathy - thanx for the weather update. My dh and ds would never believe me if I suggested to wear warmer clothes when in FL.

I have had to wear jeans the last 3 days which is unusual for me. I live in my shorts. In fact I had to go buy a pair of jeans because I didnt have any that fit to wear. Shows how seldom I wear them.

Morning all,

7 days to go!!!!!

I am going to watch Janice pull out on the ship this evening. I wish I would have thought ahead of time and asked her to have a small sign or something so I could recognise her and ask her to stand on the upper deck and wave as they go by Fish Lips.
That would have been fun.

Good news for Florida weather today.
I hope the revived forecast is correct!!

They are saying our sun will return today and be in the upper 70's and sunny ALL next week and NO rain!!!
We have been cloudy and cold all week, so good to hear we should be getting back to normal now. Still cool evenings and mornings.

They closed the FE list a few weeks ago to give everyone time to figure out how many to buy for. They were talking about starting a secondary list for those like you that came in late and weren't aware of what's going on but I haven't seen anything posted on that recently. Sorry. However, if you look back at page one you will see all sorts of information on families coming, when the DIS meet is and other information. You might be able to find some families with boys that are your family's ages and hook up with them at the DIS meet and make sure your boys have some DIS friends to hang with for the week. Sorry about the FE list but look forward to meeting you on Saturday.

Our meet is the first day at 3 p.m. in the Vista Cafe.

Also we have a meet for anyone interested in Pin Trading on the first sea day in the Bon Voyage Lounge at 9:15 to 10:30 a.m.
