Am I the first one here?! We are a fun family of 6 taking their first Disney cruise! Woohoo!

Anyone else booked and a planning nut like me?

So, I will begin with a few introductions. I've never posted before, but have lingered for many years. We are a family of six: myself, my hubby, three daughters and a newborn son. We have been to "The World" a few times, and we all love the Mouse and gang so much! We decided on a cruise this time around, thinking it would be easier with a 2 yr old than our normal whirlwind trips to Disney World. Plus, I have ALWAYS wanted to do a cruise. The water! The sun! The kids' clubs! The babysitting!! The hubby and I are very excited and the kids are beside themselves with anticipation.

So, for now we are booked and just counting down the days...well, year and a half... So, stay tuned to the planning, the shopping, and the tip sharing!! I would love your ideas and tips too!!

So, with a family of six and a dog and full time jobs, we run out of time quick! I mentioned to my DD13 that we should start looking at the DISign threads and figure out how to make these magnets and FE's. We have booked two rooms... the "kids" room, an interior state room. And we have a Momma, Daddy, baby-brother room with a verandah. I hope as time goes by more and more people will stop in and say hello and give us some great tips or links! I am just as excited about making DIS friends as I am about the cruise itself.

So, here's a question... will they have the boat done up for Christmas when we sail? Will it be a gradual transition over the week?
