I saw that too! I think he said "according to my sources" but who knows what that means. Could be a CM in the know or just someone making an educated guess. Although since I'm visiting the beginning of November, I hope he is right!
A couple of weeks ago, one of the CM said that they expect the character show in front of Main Street station to return in mid-October. Right now, with the construction, the characters just walk through the area with the band and don't stop.

I totally agree. Having big ticket rides like Big Thunder down for the holiday season is ridiculous. It is so obvious that a new fiscal year has ticked over as they have just put everything off until that hit and now they are throwing money at the refurb team and hitting everything at once, racing against the clock to have the park looking fresh for the birthday celebrations. It seems like Halloween and the holiday season are a total afterthought yet we are paying big bucks to stay in their hotels and be in their parks at this time of year. If I had of known this was going to happen I would have put my planned holiday off till next year. I thought going at the holiday time would have been a perfect time to avoid ride closures as it has been in previous years. Grrr arrrrg.
I am heading there from Nov 12-16 and there is no schedule for entertainment in Avenger's campus ( ie spiderman, wakandan warriors). Disney's calendar for the upcoming 6 weeks is up for World of Color Holiday edition but not for any avenger's campus shows. Is this normal?
Yes it is normal. Disneyland has been extremely slow in adding entertainment. Keep checking.
I have been checking the daily schedule every day for the last week or so and every day it goes down with a message that it is temporarily unavailable and they will fix it soon. My guess is that they haven't finalised what entertainment they are going to offer over the holiday season and so they are holding off on posting things. They could also be doing some upgrades to their system as there seems to be so many glitches and pages not loading properly at the moment. My final guess is that they are also trying to work out what rides they are going to refurbish next for the 70th. They seem to moving at a frantic pace giving just about every ride some sort of facelift and so new rides are being put on the refurb calendar seems like every day. I think their IT department is having trouble keeping up with all the information that needs to be filtered through to the system at the moment.
Looks like it should re-open on Nov 23. Closure is 11/4-22.

There is still a possibility it will open on Tuesday 11/26 or Wed 11/27. If it is still closed on Wednesday then I suspect it will be closed the whole week.
I hope so for other guests. But Monday is our last park day.
Well, it could be worse. Big Thunder in FL is closing for over a year. It is still disappointing and it would be nice if it was announced further in advance.
Yes I saw that. I guess all the new construction in Frontierland is shutting BT down!! Yikes!
