Thanks for starting this thread! I was going to do it, but I have a bad track record of having to cancel my trip when I'm hosting the thread (which makes it even more sad!), so I didn't want to chance it.

We will be there for a short visit, November 1-3, staying at GCH. Super excited! I was a bit bummed that we will miss Tiana's by a few weeks, but that just gives us an excuse to go again soon! (Like I really need an excuse )

We will staying at VGC November 13th to November 23rd. Usually we are at DL around halloween, so very excited to see the parks and resorts at Christmas time, instead!

Thanks for starting a check-in thread… I was actually planning on starting one last weekend but didn’t find the time…

crazy that there wasn’t one already with so much going on in November!

I am arriving November 15th and hit the park on the 16th…5 park days and 2 rest days in between…
so right at the start of the holiday/Christmas season and right after the opening of Tiana‘s…
So I guess it’s going to be a madhouse that weekend but I still have some hope left that no one wants to do Tiana’s in winter…

But my main goal is to show my mom how great the Christmas time is at Disney…
(we had to postpone our planned family Christmas/thanksgiving trip in 2019 because my mom couldn’t travel because of a broken wrist…and I did an impromptu solo-trip to check out Christmas time at Disneyland instead…)

(Just in case anyone is wondering… yes I leave my dad home alone…
so my mom and I can show him how great the Christmas time is at Disneyland next year…at least that’s kind of the plan…)

Planning to arrive Sunday, November 3rd, and be in the parks November 4th, 5th, and 6th!!

Excited! We have a two-family, 8-person visit planned Nov. 18-23. 4 park days. Staying at the Grand Californian and looking forward to all the holiday decorations. Original idea was that maybe the week before Thanksgiving would be a little bit lighter on crowds, but with Tiana's opening just a couple days before we arrive, maybe not! I think it is always busy there, anymore, anyway. Big crowds or not, it will be a great week, I'm sure. I'm really hoping a lot of the current closures are back up and running by the start of Holidays time.

Have early November folks gotten the dining reservations they wanted? Since we are visiting for only a couple of days this time, we opted for no dining reservations.

I was sort of bummed at first because part of me likes the dining ressie game, but I'm also sort of relived since I won't have to worry about times. It feels freeing! Oh and I already have a list of quick service options I want to try (that I likely won't finish). I think I'm most excited for the cheesy pretzel brat, and I finally want to check out the Tropical Holiday for lumpia and bao!

It is totally freeing! We have done this our last couple trip and absolutely love not being tied down to reservations. This upcoming trip, we are going with my son’s girlfriend and her dad, who is a huge Star Wars fan. They haven’t seen galaxys edge yet. So I think we will surprise them with an Ogas reservation, even though our last time at Ogas was awful. I think I’ll just order a non alcoholic drink this time and be done. Lol.

I did! They haven’t dropped the price info yet have they? I was thinking of trying that if it’s not crazy expensive. Or at least watching somewhere else in galaxys edge.

I’m excited because there will be 6 of us for smugglers run too. Lol.

I haven't seen the price, details about seating or what type of food is on that tray.

11/27-12-1. 3 days in the parks w/ a DLH stay. We are normally Halloween folk, but the hubs decided he wanted a vacation from our vacation. He & I are doing a cruise on the Magic & will be home for a week before we go to DL with our child. I know we did Thanksgiving at DL in the past, but I don't have the best recollection of our experience. I imagine it'll be super busy, but I hope that won't dampen our visit. I am hoping for a Napa Rose meal on our arrival day.

Christmas decorations start going up in mid October.
