November 2022 Car Rental Thread

I was hoping to see rental prices slowly creeping downwards but they’re still pretty high for a vehicle large enough to accommodate 4 people and 4 suitcases comfortably. We are looking at over $1000 for a standard SUV through Costco.

Has anyone seen better deals? I’m not sure what things will look like as we get closer to November.

I just booked a standard SUV for Nov. 19-24 and got $345 city special through Fox Rent a Car.

I’ve never heard of them but I’ll check them out! We are looking for 14 days spanning Thanksgiving.

Problem solved: we just booked our airfare to and from PBI since we are ending our trip with a few days at Vero. The minivan out of PBI was half the cost of a standard SUV at MCO plus our airfare was almost $800 cheaper than to and from MCO.

Prices have been creeping up again. The same minivan with the same rental company is now $150 more. I have to wonder when prices will finally start slowly coming down.

Anyone have any codes or discounts for any car rental companies? I have always used Alamo in the past, but their prices are just ridiculous right now!

I don’t but my MIL used this at Budget for their November trip to the west coast: D074900.
