So sorry I missed you. I was on the boat coming back from MK when the rain started to get going. Hope y’all are having a great trip! I leave tomorrow (Sunday) to head back to the chill of north Ga.

Arrived at Beaches and Cream- here’s the menu posted outside. One of us had actual food, 2 of us got the new specialty shakes, and one got the No Way Jose sundae- everything was delicious!


Then we went to Disney Springs for a little shopping and exploring!

We were lucky enough to see two families order it while we were there tho! I even got an awesome video but I don’t think I can post it here....

They dont have the Mickey Pant's sundae anymore? Love that one especially since you got to keep the pants.

Just found out that TE raised their price for the dinner buffet, so I will be cancelling my reservation for my birthday dinner. I will miss my annual shortcake birthday surprise, but it's ok, at 50, I think i am done celebrating them anyways. I think we will just boat over to the WL and eat at Geyser Point. We really liked it last time we ate there and it should be nice weather (I hope) to sit outside by the lake and eat.

I think they have the Mickey Pants on the take out side of Beaches & Cream (like at the Ice Cream place on Main Street). But on the sit-down side of B&C, the Pants aren't on the menu. Guess they want you to spring for the Kitchen Sink instead.

My son and his girlfriend and daughter and her husband flew in Friday night and we have been going pretty hard since. Unfortunately they fly out today but we have had s great time......even with the deluge that took place last night. We will be slowing down somewhat for the remainder of our time here. Hopefully we can meet up to say hello. We pull out Saturday morning.

I noticed they raised their prices too, $35 per adult now!

It was $21 per adult just six years ago when we first started going.

Almost doubled in price (almost) in just a few years.

Been stalking the reservation page checking hourly for the 9th to open up. Forgot it was a three day weekend for school kids, so that is probably why I am having no luck. A tent site was available this morning, but I am not going to switch sites. If I don't get it, I do plan to arrive early on the 10th and keep my fingers crossed that a site will be ready.

@serenitygr Teresa and I really enjoyed our visit with you and your family last night. It's always good when you meet someone who enjoys all things that make the Fort a special place to stay. If we dont meet up again before Saturday, travel safe back home and be extra careful with with the......dare I say.......snow Again, great meeting your family and until we meet again

3 sleeps until we leave for the Fort for the first time! Staying Nov 11-18. Hoping to convert the hubby to a full on Disney fan in the process! Once we found out we could camp at Disney, he agreed to go. Can't wait!

@JETS70 it was great meeting you both last night as well! We’ll keep an eye out for you both in the next couple days in case we see each other again! Crystal and Marty would love another cuddle! You both have a safe trip home as well if we don’t see you again this trip!

We’ve been having so much fun exploring: we’ve been to 6 or 7 different resorts now, tried all kinds of new snacks, visited the boardwalk, rode the monorail, explored the Fort, and met so many awesome people! Yesterday we were down by the canal and watched two alligators swimming through- fascinating but also scary- makes me thankful for the fences around the water....

Today Im hoping to hang out by the pool for at least a few hours, go on the horse wagon ride tonight, bring Crystal for the bike ride she enjoys each day, and get some laundry done! We have most of our decorations down now so Saturday won’t be quite so busy. It feels like there’s so much I still want to do but never enough days to get it all done- I’m already making a list for 2020!
