November 2015....The countdown begins!!

Just booked our trip today! My dad was anxious for us to lock down our preferred resort (BC) but got a little sticker shock for a party of 8. I had to tell him several times we can make adjustments when discounts are announced.

My husband was ready to start booking dining today. :)

What are your dates?

I'm debating whether I want to do Biergarten for my DH as well. He loves both buffets, and brats too. : ). I was thinking the kids might like the atmosphere too, maybe? There are jus so many good choices in Epcot though. If not there, I do want to try something I havent done before though. I can't decide between Chefs de France, San Angel, or Rose and Crown for Illuminations.

With food and wine extending to our dates and after seeing the price of Biergarten I can't bring myself to do it! I feel bad for DH but man, $40 with me just eating a serving of the chicken and some potatoes seems ridiculous! We talked and he's fine with getting rid of it but it seems so fun! Just can't justify the price if I am not going to eat multiple plates or any of the fancy fun stuff!
I did decide to add a Kona Breakfast. He LOVES breakfast and I don't have any appetite until 10:30-11 so I usually skip. So he's happy!

I enjoyed Chefs a lot but we had an adorable window seat! The restaurant seems pretty crowded. I don't know if I'd have enjoyed it as much if I had been sat in the middle of everything. If I were you I'd do Rose and Crown for Illuminations!

Just booked my airfare last night! $126 nonstop, round trip for Nov 5-14th!!!!! I have found awesome prices on airfare the last 3 trips but this has been the best yet. I will be arriving on a Thursday and coming home on a Saturday- the saturday flight was only $58!!!! I am jumping up and down!!! :yay::yay::yay:

Holy crap that's an excellent price!! :thumbsup2 We're going for Thanksgiving so I know I won't get such a low fare, but what airline are you using and which airport are you flying out of (if you don't mind me asking :flower3:). Just curious!

We are booked at BCV from November 25-28! It is a surprise trip for my kids and we are celebrating my son's 14th birthday. We typically go in the summer. What is the weather like during this time of year?

I went the year before last (and the year before that also) and it was low to mid 70s. Needed a light jacket at night. However, my friend went last year and it was in the low 80s the whole time she was there. Except for one day when it got cold and was in the high 60s. You never can tell, but usually it is super nice.

Excited to be heading back to WDW in November, it'll be our first trip since March of 2010! We'll be there Thanksgiving week which I'm a bit concerned about but I'm a mega planner so I think we'll be okay ;) There are 14 of us traveling together which can be overwhelming but our last trip was over Spring Break and we did okay, I think crowds will be similar. My youngest wasn't even a year old last time, I can't wait to experience WDW through her eyes :lovestruc

Flying Spirit out of Atlantic City. They have a $9 fare club that gives you the lowest airfare! I haven't paid more than $160 roundtrip in 3 years. :)

I totally forgot to call and put my deposit down yesterday for our trip in November and when I called today to put my deposit down, the computer had cleared my reservation and when I tried to re-book, the hotel and room I wanted wasn't available. I was able to book another hotel for 11/1-11/7 so all is not lost. Looking on the bright side...we're going to DISNEY!!!

You know my girlfriend gets ridiculously cheap flights to Myrtle Beach through that $9 fare club! I should join................the best we've done in the last 3 years is $220 round trip from JFK, which is almost 90 minutes away. We did get $240 RT from the closer airport last Feb. but that was just good luck, that airport is almost always more expensive than JFK, LaGuardia, Newark & Westchester. And those are all our choices lol!

It is so worth it! Its funny because most of these sites see and remember what we are looking for when browsing. I swear they knew I was coming back. I check the airfare one day and the next day the price for $9 fareclub was way lower!! So I went ahead and booked. The next day I went back on just curiously and the price was back to where it was initially with no discount. That seems to always be the case these past 3 years! So browse and look first then go back and check again later. :thumbsup2

Rates are not out yet - hopefully by mid July!! I am patiently waiting!!!!

I'm going for Thanksgiving with my daughter and grandchildren! She is a regular Disney Traveler. She is patiently waiting for the Dinning Plan to come out. I'm going with a Travel Agent...as they do have some very good deals for Resort Rates. However....you usually can't purchase the dinning plan if you book these discounted rates. But...the good part is that I can book now for that time of year! Can't Wait!

So I am not the only one thinking this far in advance - I like it!

Right now, I am trying to decide if we should go Wed-Wed (11th - 18th) or go Sat-Sat, (14th-21st). Flight prices are going to be so much better Wed-Wed if history repeats itself, but I am not sure I want to deal with the extra crowds on Th/Fri due to Veteran's Day on Wed.... anyone want to chime in and help my OCD-self decide?? :rotfl:

This will be my 15th-ish trip, and more importantly - it will be DH's and my DS/DD (will be ages 6 and 4) first trips!!!!! My parents will be joining us and it will be their 35th trip (or something like that).

We will stay at either POR, CBR, or WL, depending on deals.

If plane tickets are a deal breaker...fly on a weekday. The weekend flights are much more expensive.

Hi which airline do you use. We are going in nov also. Thanks

So the girlfriend and I have narrowed it down to the third week of November, but we're really hoping a free dining offer pops up so we can save $600+ on the trip. Anyone else in this same boat or is it just me?

I'm hesitant to book the trip until an offer pops up or until I can confirm that we won't be getting one this year so I don't have to be bothered with the hassle of canceling a reservation to rebook it with dining.

Party tickets will allow you to enter the park at 4pm, so you could be in MK from 4pm-12am on a party night with just party tickets.

Well this is a bit of a conundrum. Do I dare have a standard park ticket and a party ticket on the same day or should I make the Christmas Party day a half-rest day and half-party day. Hmm.

My daughter and her family are waiting for free dining as well...same time frame. We talked about booking, then calling if the offer was advertised so I called Disney to ask some questions. What they said was, yes u can always do that but...it also depends on availability of the resort u have already booked with. What this said to me was...the resort I book may not offer me the discount. It just seemed to up in the air to me. My daughter is waiting. I booked with a travel agent and am forgoing the dining plan for a good room rate. Best of luck!

We're going with a Value Resort as usual, so I doubt even a discounted room rate would best a $600 savings.
