I'm rearranging pretty much every day of our trip lol!! I usually end up making some changes before (and even after) I make our FP's but this time it was every day except one. Tried changing some ADR's around, couldn't do most of what I wanted but I'll make it work

Hi all

We're heading across the pond for 2 weeks from 7-22 Nov. so excited to be doing Disney during the Christmas celebrations. I'm originally Canadian, so grew up with a few Disney experiences. Married a Brit and moved to the UK and introduced him to Disney via Disneyland Paris. He LOVED it! Not too surprising as a Lion King theme was part of our wedding lol.

So after that we met up with my family for a weeks WDW trip in 2007 and he was hooked. In 2008 we took his parents to DLP and they were so impressed. A return trip to Florida for the two of us in January 2013 had us talking about doing a trip to DLP during the Christmas celebrations for 2014, but after looking into it we decided to spend an extra year saving and do it 'properly' at WDW for a full two weeks, so this has been a while in the making.I have always wanted to do 'Christmas' at Disney so this really is a dream come true.

Much as we would love to experience staying at a resort, we have found a wonderful townhouse property not too far away which worked out way cheaper than any of the value hotels, or non-Disney hotels even for just two of us so we couldn't turn down the opportunity of extra space, and parking at our front door. So some day the plan is a resort stay, but for now Christmas.

We have tickets for MVMCP on the first night and can't wait. It's seemed forever to arrive the last 18 months, and now it's almost here.

Just booked my fast passes tonight and got everything I wanted at almost the exact times I was hoping for. I'm so excited! Now I get to sit back and wait for our trip. The planning is done. Ahhhh.

I'll be in the parks Nov 9-13. I am so excited--I am taking a trip with my SIL who also loves Disney. We got a couple weird looks from some family (as I have two children, who are 9) when we announced we were planning the trip. I will be celebrating my four year Cancerversary during our trip, so I am very excited. We have ADRs, fast passes, and all the fun booked! We cannot wait!! This is my fourth trip since my first in 1989, and my SIL goes roughly every two years. We're staying at POP, have free-ish dining (we upgraded to 1 QS, 1 TS), and cannot wait to check out MVMCP and F&W!!!

Now that the ADRs are made and the FPs have been set all of my attention is focused on making packing lists and using the baby's crib/nursery as my staging area since she is still sleeping in her rock and play in our room. Today I ordered matching pirate mickey shirts for dd(5) and nephew(5) to wear to MK for their pirates league experience. After this I must not Etsy, it is destroying my wallet! My girls are going to look so cute in all of their matching gear though! And dd is going to flip over her and my nephew (who is her bff) wearing matching shirts to MK. Anyone else have a serious Etsy addiction?

We're going November 2-6, and I am SOOOOOOOOOOOO excited! I have dreamed about going to Disney World for the past 15 years, and none of my family and friends wanted to go. I finally managed to convince my husband. It will be his and my 1 year old daughter's first time. My husband actually seems excited now, and I've been introducing my daughter to the Mickey characters. I can't wait! We're also going to Islands of Adventure to see the Harry Potter park one day.

Online check in is done! I of course agonized over which section of SSR was best for our party but finally settled on the Paddock for the great pool for dd(5). 9 weeks from tomorrow we fly out!

I just did mine as well iv been changing them a lot already lol heres mine as of right now for Nov11-18 feedback is welcome:
day 1(arrival day my plane lands at 11am so im giving my self til 3 to get to the park) 3 watch festival of fantasy and then go straight to meet mickey, i did fast pass meeting mickey mostly because i want that to be the first thing i do and do it quickly so i can go explore.

It depends on what is available for your hotel. For mine (CBR) the requests available were what village, first or second floor, close to transportation, adjacent rooms, water view, corner room and a couple I can't remember. So I picked the village I wanted and second floor because I don't like having people above me. You can pick two requests and they vary from resort to resort.

oh awesome thanks!! we are doing all star sports and i was hoping to ask for the baseball or football building because out of the options those are my partners favourites

Happy happy day for me, after SOO much agony with airfare for this trip, my insane persistence has paid off ! (If anyone knows about insane persistence w/ Disney planning...it's everyone DIS haha) We live in Fargo, ND. We have 5 kids aged 2mo-9yrs (she'll be 4mo by travel time). Our best option was flying out of Minneapolis on Thanksgiving day, found a smokin' hot deal for round trip $202/person. It even had a 2+hr layover in Chicago so we could actually EAT something and make it to the connection, arriving at MCO at 1050pm ( ). Then United changed our flight in to MCO. Then they changed it again. We all of a sudden, in the span of one afternoon, went from almost 3 hrs of layover to 1hr07min. On Thanksgiving. At ORD. With 5 kids. UNcool. United said if flights got added back in, we can change at no fee since they dropped our outbound flight. Just got everything fixed with them, for no extra cost, and now we'll be getting to the Magical Express by 3:15pm !!! WOOHOO!!! Now to figure out how to keep this a surprise.....

My Etsy purchases have been trickling in over the last few weeks! Since dd(5weeks) isn't in her crib yet, that's my staging area. I bought gallon zip lock bags and have one for each girl, each day. I've also got our miscellaneous items such as bathin suits in the crib as well. Is it too soon to bust out suitcases???
