According to the app, the wait times look very reasonable. How accurate is the app usually?

We have found the app to be showing rides 5-10 minutes to little. It's only been a day and a half though. Still, these were supposed to be the light days before Vets day and the Marathon. I have a sinking feeling about the end of the week.

I'll be there Nov 21-22, Sat/Sun before Thanksgiving and I am fully prepared for it to be PACKED! With it being the holidays, Season of the Force, and the 60th still going on I'm beginning to wonder if DL will reach capacity. Boy I hope not! At least I'll be solo so will be able to maneuver the crowds more efficiently. Yikes!

Oh I'm sure you will have a great time! Plus, I saw that you are staying at the VGC, so being able to escape back to your room if it gets too crazy will be fantastic. I just booked an AP rate at PPH, way more than I want to spend, but it's only one night and I'll at least get early entry on Sunday so that will help some.

Well, we arrive Thursday afternoon for Avengers weekend so this ought to be interesting.... we are lucky to be able to go quite regularly so we will try to enjoy what we can.

Sounds like a quick fun trip! We have turned into the commando park family now that our kids are older . . . but we will see if it gets too crowded or cold if we rethink that! Unlikely though!

I went Monday and Tuesday none of the lines we saw were more than 20 minutes except RSR was 40 minutes at 4pm. We had a great time!

First day in the parks tomorrow. Kind of worried about the crowds, but I was here in July, just after the 60th and found it fine, so here's hoping! Glad we'll have five full days.

When I planned my trip, Touring Plans crowd calendar was 2/10 for each day. Now 8/10

Oh well I know the best way to manage the crowds is to have reasonable expectations. Will report back! Excited for my DD2 to experience DLR for the first time!

Had a great full morning at DL! Crowds were very manageable compared to when I was here in July. Lots of characters out which is so great for my DD2! Heading back after nap. Yay!!

2 weeks until we are outta here. Still not sure what to expect crowd wise...my only concern is we have someone getting us in to the park and she said there is a small chance they could tell her she can't. If that happens it will take a majority of our spending money so I'm praying it doesn't happen!!

We are home from our fabulous trip Nov-17-22! Had such a great time, but boy are we exhausted! 7 a.m. EMH/MM's until late every night without a break was killer, and then our flight was delayed coming home last night, so we didn't get in the door until 1 a.m.

Tuesday and Wednesday were great crowd-wise, but by Thursday it was increasing and the weekend was crazy. I have never seen that long of line for Pirates. We managed OK with FP's and DH had a DAS pass due to his severe Achilles tendonitis and having to push DD (who just had foot surgery) in a wheelchair. I was in an ECV with my bum knee. So we were kind of a mess, but made it work.

Hope you brave Thanksgiving week people have a ball! I can't imagine it could be much more crowded than it was yesterday. Thankfully there are still lots of shows and such without the big lines.

We will be visiting Wednesday to Friday (11/25-11/27). I am getting the 3 day 1-park tickets. Any suggestions for which days to visit which parks - we want to go to Disneyland two days and California Adventure one day. It looks like there is early entry to both parks these days so I can't plan around that?

I hope everyone had great trips last November! Just curious if any of you have a record of operating hours last year from Tuesday 11/17 to Sunday 11/22. I'm trying to work up an educated guess on what those days of that week will be like this year. Thanks!

They were supposed to be fairly short hours that week (the week we went!) but when they announced that Star Wars openings, they ended up bumping openings back much earlier and closings much later, and then even went to 2 fireworks shows. So I don't know if last year's times will be indicative of this year's hours. Our "quiet" week turned out to be much busier than we expected, but we were park commandos for like 14 hours straight a day and had a wonderful time!

You know, I knew that but completely forgot that all had just opened. I imagine even if I found a schedule it wouldn't do me much good. Maybe I need to reach back to the November 2014 hours! Thanks for your reply!

Yes, last year was weird and they even had EMH at both parks each day from the Sat before Thanksgiving running that entire week. I looked up the historical hours on Touring Plans below.

In 2015 the hours for 11/17-11/22 were:
Tue & Wed DL 9am-10pm, DCA 8pm
Thu both parks 8am-8pm
Fri, Sat, Sun 8am-12am, DCA 11pm

In 2014 the hours for 11/18-11/23 were:
Tue, Wed, Thu both parks 10am-8pm
Fri DL 9am-11pm, DCA 10pm
Sat DL 9am-12am, DCA 10pm
Sun DL 8am-12am, DCA 10pm
