We will be staying at BWPPI from Nov. 1-6 (5 nights) My DH, myself & 20 yr old son! Kind of last minute trip, I normally plan WAY in advance, so this is very new (and I'm not going to lie, a bit scary)! My son & I will be staying beyond DL & doing other things, DH is heading home after DL to work.

My wife's boss (company owner) handed her an envelope yesterday with two crisp $100 bills in it to spend at the parks - what a guy eh?

It's November!!! It's our month!!! Is anyone there yet? How's the trip going? Are the Halloween decorations out of sight yet?

I've been reading the halloween thread and folks are saying Toontown has some holiday decorations up and that a lot of holiday merch has flooded the shops. It will be interesting to see the halloween/fall/holiday mishmash this week.

We are flying down on Wednesday, November 11th, with Thursday and Friday in the parks, back home on Saturday. i'm glad we will have the Christmas decorations on Friday to enjoy.

I hear yah! .... we leave Friday (not getting to the park till Monday) and for some reason I am so over the moon excited about this trip. I'm usually excited, but this time it's a "I can't sleep or breath" kind of excitement!!!! Maybe because we have some family friends flying in the end part of our trip or because it's the last trip before our DS get's married not really sure why, but my gosh I feel like a 6 year old on Christmas morning.

First time DL trip for us! We told our boys that we're "going to Disney" - what we didn't tell them is that it's Disneyland, not WDW.

We're going Nov 11th to 15th, staying at the Residence Inn Maingate.

Hoping that the race doesn't make things too crowded.

Leaving the Land Down under in a week and day arrive in DL on the 16th!! We are starting to feel it WOOHOO!!

Here now! Staying at the Grand and it is fantastic so far. It's chilly here, definitely sweater weather at night. Hoping it warms up into the 70s tomorrow so we can enjoy swimming. We had dinner in DTD tonight and it seemed crowded around 9 pm and I remarked to my husband that I hoped it wasn't a sign of crowds this week. His reply? That DL had just closed and the "crowd" was just people leaving for the day. In that case, it wasn't bad at all!

Kiddos are sleeping away in their bunk beds. Will report more tomorrow. We have early entry at DCA. Feel free to ask questions!
