Thankfully DD is all back to normal this morning. Now just commando cleaning the house for her party tomorrow.

Pretty upset about the new FL dates. I really wanted to ride the Little Mermaid ride since its in the old 20,000 leagues spot and I remember riding it as a kid. I don't want to have to wait until February 2014 to see it all. What are the chances of the Mine Coaster being open by then.

Does anyone know how far bounce back offers normally extend? Could we get one in Nov to use for Feb 2014?

Have spent the whole day dealing with DD throwing up due to dehydration. :( She's finally sleeping soundly now. I think we finally got her hydrated. Its still so crazy hot here and our a/c is on the fritz of course. Really hope tomorrow is better because her birthday is on Tuesday and don't want her sick for her party.

That's no fun! Hope she gets better soon!:goodvibes

Awwww I hope she feels better soon. It is never fun when they are sick. We are finally fever free here today woo hooo.

:yay::yay:

I keep wondering about this. If Fantasyland isn't going to be open to the general public........How can they open BOG to us? From what is being said now it is only going to be open to AP holders while we are there. Looks we we will just miss the official opening. I would love to plan to go back in 2013 but with 2 wedding in 2013 ..... I just don't know. Even though it is our sons, we are very involved with the weddings.

I read it as AP holders are the first to be able to experience the new parts of Fantasyland, but that it would open later for the rest of the people. I think (hope) they were talking earlier in November?:confused3 Or did I miss something?

:cheer2: So glad your little one is better! As far as the bounce back offers, ours were always within a year.

Yeah, I think it's a small window where AP passholders will have a preview and then soft openings and I still think that they will have it open to everyone by Thanksgiving, that doesn't help me (& other early Nov travelers) but that's how I read it. :)

And the bounce back is usually within one year from travelling? So my Nov trip now and taking bounce back won't work for a Dec 2013 trip? Shoot, I'll have to think of the second best time to go back then. :confused3

I thought BB was for the following year. Like through 2013

I wonder if The AP preview with The new Fantasyland is Disneys way to entice more of us to buy APs. :confused3

Even though I'm not going til the end of the month I'm STILL not happy about the FL updates :sad2: We have an MK day on Nov 27, Dec 1, Dec 3, and Dec 5. HOPEFULLY NFL will be open by then!

Sorry, I ddn't mean within a year, but within the following year, so I think Dec 2013 would be okay. It just has to be booked before you leave. Maybe someone else has more info.:goodvibes

Really? What is swaying you?

I'm guilty of pricing out a trip for next year. :rotfl: Hey, a girl can hope can't she? :goodvibes

Remember the university messed up DH grants, and we had to pay $5k out our pockets. They say we will have the money back before mid October, but between the University and the VA I trust neither. Our final payment is due Oct 11. If a special comes up we will change dates. I really want to go in November for the Holiday stuff, but then I hope for another discount to come out.

We know we'll be going back in the Spring of 2014 to take two of our grandkids. We are taking each of them when they turn 5 and two of them will be 5 in 2014. As for 2013, I can't imagine a year without Disney, but we may do a Med cruise or a trip to Europe instead. I've never had a passport and it's time I branched out a bit. (That's what I say EVERY year and then I get sucked into the Disney vortex!:rotfl:)

What are you all looking forward to the most when you get to Disney?

I think mine is seeing the Candlelight Processional again. It's just amazing!

DD 4 woke me up last night because she had a bad dream, she woke me up from a "bad" dream that I was having, I got to tell her I had a bad dream too.
My dream we were just sitting down to lunch at Columbia Harbor House when it started raining and I realized I had forgotten our rain jackets. We have jackets we dont wear ponchos. My husband kept leaning into the rain pouring off the roof so he was getting extra wet. I was a paniced mess.

I often have Disney nightmares and when I wake up I realize that if that happened it wouldn't be that big a deal, but while I'm still asleep it seems horrible.

I need some advice!
I'm considering switching 2 of my park days due to the fact that easywdw crowd calendar has them as both least recommended parks for those days. Which of course would mean I would have to switch ADRs as well, not a huge problem as there are still ressies available for around the same times as the originals. But my question...how much emphasis do you put into "easywdw" crowd calendars? This is my 4th time at wdw and my first time looking at these calendars! I don't have TouringPlans so I'm not sure what they say. Any advice? :goodvibes:

Let me know the dates and parks you're looking at and I'll tell you what touringplans says

I bet you're so happy you got that on camera! :cool1:

Yes!!!

Actually if you call them on the 11th and tell them what happened, they weill still let you pay late. My friend didnt even cancel til 2 days before she was supposed to go and there were no fees or anything...Disney WANTS our money lol

And I think right now they want it even more. :thumbsup2

But seriously I know they will work with you. I have seen it posted to many times on the Dis to not believe that.

I'm just glad I didn't pay the trip off in full. We could have been in a bad place. His school ate up most of our savings.

I thought if you didn't cancel by the 11 they either cancelled you or charged you a penalty?

I kind of hope they offer a room discount in January. I will gladly use it at a Deluxe, and use restaurant.com gift certs. It can take just as long to eat in Disney as it is to go to Irlo Bronson to get a meal. Just eat CS meals for lunch. we shall see what happens. I would like to see the holiday lights.

Does anyone prepare for Disney in unusual ways? I've got an appt a week before we go for waxing. I'm going to get my legs, armpits and bikini line done. Just so I don't have to bring a razor with me. This will be my first time for my legs and armpits. DH thinks I'm crazy.

I use to get waxed.i don't find it odd. I have thin hair and razors never cut it. Since we are a 1 income home since we had DD2 I have had to cut back on the luxuries. If we were going to one of the water parks I would probably splurge on waxing. I do like to get a pedicure before vacation, and my hair done.
