Are we ever going to find out what "Holiday Season" means for BOG? It's the ONLY thing I'm still waiting on. :woohoo: Vacation P.I.F. tomorrow!!!:cool1:

Are you on the unofficial waiting for big ADR? If no you might want to check it out. Great post about when BOG MIGHT (and I stress MIGHT) open!!!!!

So I was MIA..... I went to Target for the 70% off toy clearance! Got $646 in toys for $150:D and i think Christmas is done except for DD12
Wow!!! Thats great!

Good morning. Little hurdle in the road and a bad night of sleep. The SIL had an eclamptic seizure and was airlifted to a hospital near our house about 2 hours from her house. twin baby boys born yesterday early afternoon. My SIL on the other hand is in ICU in a coma. No news since yesterday evening which I hope means good news. Last i read on facebook which isnt official to me is that she had gotten worse about 8pm. Once the DH wakes up we will be on our way to the hospital, and then off to work for him this afternoon. DH doesn't want to go, but I think he needs to go support his brother.

On a good note *because I need one* 121 days

So sorry to hear that.

:offtopic: I put this on FB but gonna post it here in hopes that someone else MAY feel this way too~ Im gonna post this because well I dont want it on my fb page and I trust you guys....
Im having a hard time today. My DH has said things to me like 'you need to do something about this closet' which isnt a big deal but he is only home at night lately and I have been doing everything! We live in a townhouse(Maryland real estate is soooooo expensive) because thats all we can afford right now so I do the best that I can with what we have. I have been taking a little bit of our vacation money here and there for craft supplies and things for our trip but now its getting down to crunch time for spending money. I *should* have enough by then BUT its getting hard. Sometimes I feel like we cant afford this trip and I know these two things are NOT related in anyway, BUT these are weighing heavily on my mind. I feel like im broke. The trip is paid for and we have half the spending money but things keep getting in the way. This week was Target Christmas shopping (which I probably shouldnt ahve done but I will not be able to get the things I got around Christmas for that price) I know everything will be fine but I still have soooo much on my mind. Bills are paid.... food is bought and trip is paid I just dont know where all these feelings are coming from UGH! I hate being in a bad mood and esp this weekend when its a DISNEY weekend!

Sorry your having a bad time. As long as all the bills are paid you are doing good. Think of all the fun you will have and the memories you'll make.

Holy Cow I cannt catch up on all these pages, just back from a long weekend away. Didnt think about my Disney trip once, it was very relaxing. But now back to obsessing. My ADRs
11-10 Hollywood and Vine 8:15am
11-12 Coral Reef 7:20pm
11-13 Chef Mickey 8:45am
11-14 Sprit of Aloha 5:15pm
11-15 Liberty Tree Tavern 1:05pm
11-16 CRT 2:15pm

any one want to chime in? Good - bad - ugly? What yall think?

Looks good to me. I'll have to post mine and see what everyone thinks.

I guess all of you missed my post .....was it yesterday? About the stress of the trip. I do this to myself every time. I have gone as far as cancelled trips in the past. Remember mommyof 3....we both had trips planned at the same time last year as well and I cancelled.......It was mainly because I talked myself out of it. I gave myself a million and three reasons why we shouldn't instead of giving myself permission to go and enjoy myself. And that is the big thing right there.......GIVE YOURSELF PERMISSION. Its what we should all do. We have busy lives....we do, do, do for everyone else without a second thought. We all need to pinky swear that we are going... we are going to have an AWESOME time and it doesn't matter if the matching t-shirts are perfect or not....or even if the hairbows are the perfect size. Its Disney with family and the memories are precious.

I'm sorry .....didn't mean to rant. But the older I get the more I realize that fun filled time out of our normal routines (what is normally called vacation) with our loved ones are so important. We don't get "do overs".
So make the most of it. Relax and ENJOY!! :grouphug:

Great advice!!!

Ideally Chef Mickey (on or before 8am) and CRT (around 11am/12pm) would be earlier but I think Im pretty lucky to have gotten those spots

I picked Coral Reef because I thought the kids would like it and my husband likes seafood.
We have eaten at Coral Reef twice and enjoyed it both times. Its the one ressie I'm disappointed we are not doing this time.

On a side note......100 days for us!!!!!

Woohoo!!

Need help! I have to complete these trip binders this weekend for my out of town family... should I put the confirmation numbers on the meal times? Should include menus? What other things should I include? MVMCP info? Osbourne lights? Ideas!!!

Menus would be good info for them to have. Are you giving them a touring plan? I'm thinking of giving them to my oldest son and fiance so they know what we are doing in each park. They are not planners and have no clue how Disney works. Not that they have to follow it.

UPDATE* SIL has woken up from her coma. She is still in ICU, but if things go well will be moved to the maternity ward. Babies will stay at hospital 2-6 weeks. we will go visit tomorrow.

So happy to hear this. I pray all goes well.

Hi everyone! Just got back from Disney after 11 days yesterday! While we were there, my DH and I made a bounceback reservation for November for our anniversary. We are going for a long weekend November 2- November 5 @ AKL. This will be the first time since we went on our honeymoon that we will be doing Disney without the kids. made my ADRs this morning. Very excited! Now to plan out who will be watching the kids while we are gone and to change my ticker!

Very exciting!!

We have a very ealy flight to Disney. We will be there by 8:40am. I think we will probably be at Pop around 10:30. Since we don't know if a room will be ready we figure we might as well go to a park. (DHS) Then head back when they tell us the room is ready. We have a Chef Mickey reservation for 7:00pm and I think we might be to tired to head over there. The hubby wants an early night in but I don't want to give up Chef Mickey's. What do you think?
We will be traveling with an 8yr old, 2yr old and 1yr old. My adult son doesn't care either way. Thanks

Hi and Welcome! An adult trip will be so much fun...as you know, a totally different experience from what you do with the kids along! Have fun!!:dance3:

What do ya'all think of this dining schedule

10:30 am Storybook Princess at epcot
4:00 Sci fi
8:30 1900 park fare

Just wondering if that is too much in one day, I just dont want credits left over and My kids are picky eaters and get hungry at night, just wondering if I would have time to get to my reservation at 1900 park fare after the fantasmic show ends around 7

I know my grandchildren are usually ready to sleep by 8:30/9:00. They are 2, 3 & 5. You know your kids best. If they can be up and eating that late, you shouldn't have any trouble making that last ressie! Enjoy!

Fantasmic question: The past two years we always do the fantasmic package, but this year I want to take my son to scifi, so just wondering how hard will it be to get in the showing I know there are two showings on sundays 6:30 & 8:00 but I need to get to the 6:30 due to adr at 8:30 at a different location,
is it hard getting a seat without the package

We never get the package any more and never have trouble getting a seat 45 minutes to an hour before the show.;)

I honestly can't wait for November to get here. This morning, we watched our honeymoon video and the video from 2 years ago when we took our DD for the first time! We just can't get enough. I keep thinking of events we still have to attend before even going and I wish we could just skip over everything and just get there already! lol

I used to tell my kids not to wish their life away, but I know it's hard not to with a Disney trip in the future. It's great that you have events to attend, each one bringing you closer to your trip. Try to live in the moment and enjoy each day of life as the gift it is. (and keep coming here to talk about and get excited about the coming trip!:thumbsup2)

First of all, I'll bet you will be at POP long before 10:30 if you're on ME. And if you're DH is worried about being tired, why not have everyone take a nap when you go back to check into your room? That way you won't have to give up Chef Mickey. Hope it works out for you!:goodvibes

Not sure if anyone has posted this but via snail mail I got a 3 letter code for a room only discount for November. The dates mirrored the FD dates.

Excuse me for a moment while I run to the mailbox!! Can you expand on the percentages for which resorts?? Been waiting for this for so long!!

Afternoon/evening everyone! Glad to hear people are doing okay and all is well, since I missed a few days of the thread there somewhere.

Got to talking to DP and we think we MIGHT upgrade our tix this year to an AP, then hopefully do room only at a deluxe next fall (maybe September/October for water parks). Dooooooooooes anyone know if bouncebacks have to be booked as a package? And if they require you to buy tickets? I know no one has gotten this years, but I wondered about previous years and I know some of you are booked on BB.

Also worried about getting WDW burnout going back so soon. I thought about maybe doing a 2 week Hawaii cruise instead, but we've never cruised and I don't now if we'd like it. I know we like WDW :rotfl:

Sounds like alot of us just had a bad day. Mine was just at work. I just remind myself I am going on vacation and I get to get away for 10 whole days (11 if I take the day before we leave off which I am really thinking about). I am one that usually doesn't let things get to me and today I had to go into the bathroom to collect myself and calm down.

Those going to the MNSSHP on Friday, Nov 2, what time are the fireworks? I've heard they are later and different than regular Wishes...

UPDATE: July 24, 2012
Walt Disney Imagineering has released additional photos from the new Be Our Guest Restaurant, showing how the Enchanted Rose from "Beauty and The Beast" will play a central part in the theming. The rose is represented in both beautiful mosaics and light fixtures, as well as in some of the restaurant's more subtle details, with roses etched in wooden accents and sculpted into stone columns and trim. Reservations for the restaurant will open in late August.

for all ears

Awesome!!

The fireworks are a special show just for the parties called "Hallowishes" and they show at 9:30pm. They are pretty great!!

I booked a 40% off room only discount one year while I was there on a free dining trip. It just depends what they're offering at the time, I think!

Good morning everyone! :wave2: I know some of you had a bad day yesterday and I'm sending you some pixie dust that things will be better today.pixiedust:pixiedust:
