NOVEMBER 2012 Trip Planners Thread~ Everybody is Welcome~Part 3 already!

I am at a loss as what to do to plan- I usually obsess over ADRs, but with us doing the QS Dining Plan, I don't have any to worry about! I have already figured out the best parks for each day, and made a hour-to-hour plan of our days' schedule and activities.

It's gonna be a looooong 104 days...

Change it!!! do PP+!! We have ressies at Ohanas bkfst, Tusker house, 1900PF (bkfst and dinner) Chef Mickeys, CRT and Akershus

random ddxd plan question. when i look at menu's on allears is that what i will see there or is it a different menu for dining plan holders?

All the talk about Liberty Tree for lunch and the yummy toffee cake caught my eye. So now add me to the list that has an ADR for lunch. Do not drink the water peeps.

Why are some people on the dis boards so snarky? I wonder if they are like that in "real" life as well.

I don't know why some people are like that, but I'm so glad we have such a nice thread with wonderful people here.

I am rethinking my Thurs Nov 29 ADR. Currently, we have ADR's at Captains Grill at 5:35pm. I am now thinking of getting the photo pass +. My kids are tall enough and want to go on all the rides that take the pictures. I thought it would be awesome to get all those pictures added to PP+ and then I would get the picture packages to Tusker House and 1900 Park Fare. So I could change to b-fast at Ohana's and get that picture package. What are your thoughts?

I've heard great things about Captain's Grill, but if you're going to do PP, I'd say make the change.

Smoke?! Is there a smoking area right next to where the DP is held?! I'm always annoyed by the smoke when I'm enjoying a Dole Whip Float....

125 days till Thanksgiving and we leave for WDW. Booked my DS5 ressie at Pirates League with Jake package at noon on Nov. 24. Anyone done this or have advice.

I know Planet Hollywood isn't unique to Disney, but I'm surprised that I haven't seen a SINGLE person say they are going there. Is it subpar food and service? My hubby is a huge Hard Rock fan and I thought this would be along the same lines.

I am not a fan of Planet Hollywood at all. The food was not good the time I went and the service was worse. I would rather eat at McDonalds than Planet Hollywood. But that is just me. You could always go to Universal to Hard Rock if your husband loves it and you have a car.

Good Evening Everyone, and TGIF!!

I had a busy day with work, but alas I'm finally done and now the weekend's here! Yay!! Monday my daughter Rachel who is 15 is traveling down by herself to see her sister in Pensacola. We are driving her to BWI and will obtain a gate ticket so we can assure she gets on the right flight. She changes planes in Atlanta- she has traveled alot and knows the ATL airport very well. She is a mature and seasoned traveler but I am still really nervous about it. When she flys back my daughter will be with her as they are flying back together- so really its just one way down. I am hoping all goes well. My daughter Sarah is meeting her in Pensacola at the gate. She is so excited to see her sister as she only gets to see her a few times a year. I miss her alot too and am looking forward to having her come home for a few weeks. We are going to Busch Gardens Williamsburg for a week when they get home- and we're looking forward to that. After that, its saving for our next trip to WDW!! We can't wait.

We'll be at Pop from Nov 27 to Dec 5 with free dining! I'm hoping to do MVMCP (possibly on Nov 29th), and the Candlelight Processional. Depending on what happens with the dates that are still TBA, I think my uncle will want to see Whoopi.
