Hmmm.....I wonder what it could be?? Tomorrow?? I wonder what time?? This is surely exciting!!!!

I heard Tuesday at 8am, I don't know what and I'm hoping they mean tomorrow Tuesday!!! What could it be?

Those who were counting on the Aug 4th date for Be Our Guest- the only source quoted as saying Aug 4th has removed the date and replaced it with late August. I know a lot of us were suspicious of the date since her blog was the only place saying that, it seems she was incorrect

Hmmm DIS Dads was saying yesterday that on Tues 8 am there is to be a big announcement, bigger than FD I wonder if it might be about BOG

Be Our Guest restuarant in Magic Kingdom. Rumored to be opening in the fall, ADR's supposed to open sometime in August. Disney has said August. Rumor was it was going to be Aug 4. Announcement tomorrow may or may not have something to do with this.

First off ROLL TIDE!!! We are Huge Alabama fans! We are doing Epcot that day & are gonna walk over to the ESPN place on the boardwalk to see if the game is on. If not either go back to the room or listen to Eli Gold!(on our phone with the iheartradio app) We will be all decked out in our BAMA gear!

Yeah!!! Myself and DS13 will also be sporting our BAMA gear, my DH will of course be in that other team's colors. I will have to get that app for sure, I love to listen to Eli! I also thought about going over to the ESPN place but DH thinks that he will be to nervous to be around strangers, We watched a little of the ARK/LSU game last year at the poly bar by Ohana. I thought that was a great place to watch the game. If I can talk DH into it we may try to watch it there. RTR

Do you have any kind of discount? (room only, AP, etc.) If not have you tried ordering the FREE planning dvd, custom maps, or saving travel packages on their website.

I have gotten so used to the people on this Thread! What am I going to do when all of our trips have come & gone?? Everyone is so nice here! I have been looking at some other threads & people are so snippy & rude! I like being able to ask a "stupid" question without being flamed!

The fraud department from my Disney Visa Rewards Credit card called me today. Somebody tried to charge a $1000 plane ticket to my card. They also charged $100 to AAA and $2.00 to orbitz.com. I just used my card to book my disney trip with free dining last monday when the deal came out. They had to cancel my card and send me a new one. Disney has the old card number for the reservation so I hope this doesn't mess something up. The other thing that worries me is I gave my number out over the phone to the CM taking my reservation. Other than that I havent used it online or anything. I just wanted to post in case anybody else has a Disney Visa..you may want to check your transactions online just in case.

Oh wow! I am SOOOOO sorry this happened! I wouldnt worry about anything on Disneys end as far as your reservation goes. You should be fine Im glad you caught it! There are some MEAN DISHONEST PPL in this world!

I miss one day and look what I miss. There is an announcement today? I feel so out of the loop.

Our week was blacked out of free dining-I had a feeling since it was Jersey week. So I switched our res. to check in Nov 1 so we could get free dining. Luckily the Cars suite at AoA was available. However, we are only saving around $300 because the value resorts only get quick service dining. We prefer the regular dining plan, so with the upgrade it's not saving a whole lot. The only way FD is going to save us big money is if we switch to a moderate, and I just can't see that happening. We were very comfortable in the ASMu suite when we went, and can't imagine sharing a tiny room with our boys for 6 nights. We definitely saved $ by having the mini kitchen in our suite and eating breakfast there most days. Plus, my mom was considering joining us so we definitely need the suite. Ugh! We were on the fence about cancelling the trip due to money being tight but wanted to wait until the fall offers came out. Looks like we are leaning toward cancelling, but our final payment isn't due until Sept. 20. I'm very sad, but we will try again for spring. I hate to pull the kids out of school for more than a few days, but it is what it is. I will hope for a good PIN for spring. We went in early May in 2011 and loved it. We walked onto almost every ride. So long story short...we are technically still booked for Nov 1 for now, but probably not going I'm SO glad we didn't tell the kids yet!
ETA: I understand the quick service being offered with value, but I think it should be regular dining plan for people staying in the suites since the price is comparable to a room in a deluxe resort.

The only F! Pkg that's 2 credits is HBD, the other 2 restaurants are only 1 credit.

Now I find that out! I was told they all were, so I went for Brown Derby! This was years ago, one of the first years it was offered and before I knew that CMs don't always have the correct information!

Is the announcement coming via Disney website or Disney blog?? I just checked both and found nothing except the announcement that the search for the 2013 Mom's panel will begin in September. Not really newsworthy since it happens in Sept every year. Oh, and Alison Sweeny will be running in the Jan race.

Good Morning!!

I have to echo the sentiments here as well. I am so happy I found this site and to have met all of you here. I have learned so many new things and have truly felt a warm sense of friendship here. I like the fact that we CAN ask a stupid question and not feel bad about it. I too will miss the conversation post November but also hoping we too can have another thread to talk about all of our amazing trips that we had.

I hope too that the announcment will be made today, here's hoping for some great news and some of that magical pixie dust!!
