I love the sausage they have at both Kona and Ohana. We always get the big kahuna ( i think that is what it is called) It has super yummy macademia pancakes with pineapple sauce. Is it November yet?

I think I definitely made the right decision about dropping 1900 and going to Kona! I've been studying the menu and it all looks delicious. DH has already picked out the Big Kahuna and said that's it! :

Oh...is it September yet?...since I know when school starts again the time will fly by until November!!

Anybody hear lately about Pop Warner and resort choices?

Out of these, which ones would you cut?
H&V pre RD breakfast- like to keep for DD4
Tusker House Pre RD
Ohana breakfast( at the Poly and we are at Epcot that day but dont need to be there at RD)
Crystal Palace Breakfast- done CP before but never breakfast(time doesnt really work)
Akershus Breakfast pre RD-never done this
Chef Mickeys breakfast- our last meal... I think I may keep this one

If I were you, I would cut Tusker House.

I have been hard at work rearranging my ADR's-for the better..... and now I have an open space for Be Our Guest... I had originally booked Garden Grill for my Candlelight Processional BUT I really wanted to fit BOG in somehow-I wasnt happy with CS LOL. I decided to cut out GG this trip and switch my CLP to Via Napoli for the 5pm show and dinner at Coral Reef afterwards now we have T-Rex for our first meal and a day at DTD...... I am so excited I cant wait!!!!

Does anyone know of a better way of getting thru to a CM on the phone than the regular telephone prompts? It seems to take me forever to press this/that and then they never get my name correct, so that takes a few different tries until FINALLY I'm transferred to a real person! Anyone know of a "magic" way of bypassing all of this and go directly to a CM? Just trying to shorten my time for Thurs morning. 4am is early and very easy to make button mistakes!!

On another topic...anyone been to Kona for breakfast? Opinions?

My stupid cell phone dropped my call after I'd been on hold for 30 minutes on the morning CLP packages were released. I was desperate when I called back and, as soon the automated thingie started, I just said "AGENT!", and was put on hold for a CM. Of course, I had to hold for more than another 30 minutes, but I didn't have tomgomthrough the prompts at all, so it worked!

Also, Kona is awesome! It's our last morning tradition. DH adores,the Big Kahuna. Our first time there, I had the Tonga Toast. I love sweets, but, honestly, it was a bit too sweet and rich. Almost seemed like something we should have ordered as like a dessert for everyone to share.... The pineapple macadamia nut pancakes are TO DIE FOR, and I would really suggest trying the Lilikoi (sp?) juice. It is like heavenly nectar!

AK-Rain Forest Cafe, Yak and Yeti, Tusker House
DTD- Raglan road, T-Rex, RFC, Earl of Sandwich

I havent eaten at all of these but these are the ones I have been reading about.

A good place to get traditional thanksgiving food is Cracker Barrel. If you have a car to go off property.

We do have a car! We are lucky enough to live only 9hrs from the greatest place on earth!

I wouldn't eat at any of those for Thanksgiving except Raglan Road, since it seems to have more "comfort food" than the others. Then again I'd probably be perfectly happy eating a pizza if it meant I was at WDW. My personal choice would be Liberty Tree Tavern butttttttttt no Hoppers.

What about a resort? That opens a world of possibilities. If you do AK and eat a CS meal for lunch (my choice would be Flame Tree BBQ) then you can have an ADR at say Ohana's or Cape May Cafe or the like. If that doesn't appeal, we enjoy Wolfgang Puck's full restaurant or Raglan Road. I've heard Fulton's is good, but have never eaten there.

I would do it soon before FDing comes out ACK you can always cancel not needed ones but you cant book ones that arent there (in a chesire cat voice )

We booked 50's Prime Time for Thanksgiving night. Its looking like we'll probably arrive a day early so I wanted to get something booked tonight. Thrre was only 1 opening for all of dinner for a party of 4.

I wanted to check in and let y'all know I was finally able to get FDing with the Visa deal ! We have been on a mini-vacation at Great Wolf Lodge, but I was smart enough to check the boards yesterday to see if they released FDing for Visa card holders . I called while on vacation to save money on a future vacation . We had to switch resorts from LM at AoA to a pirate room at CBR. My boys are going to be SO excited about the pirate room!!!! Anyhow, I'm so glad my free dining wait is over!! Wishing everyone else who's still waiting a little . --Katie

Sun-do a breakfast somehwere like ohana or 1900 or Cape May! I have almost all of these choices go to allears.net and look up all the menus under dining..... I did and we cant wait!

So I need some suggestions for eating on Thanksgiving day... We will be at Animal Kingdom that day w/no park hoppers & paying oop(our dinning plan doesn't start till fri)..So should we eat somewhere in AK, DTD, or off-site?

We are eating at Cape May Cafe on Thanksgiving. From what I understand - regular buffet items offered (which we love) in addition to traditional Thanksgiving items! If $$$ are the driver here, then I would look around off-site perhaps - there are tons of excellent option in the area, too.

I know we've talked about Vera Wang before, but I just wanted to say that I bought a little wristlet in the lime green pattern on ebay. I got in and I love it! It's perfect to keep our KTTW cards in. I can carry it safely on my wrist or throw it in my purse.

Speaking of purses, I've been using my hipster on the weekends, and I love it. It's the perfect size, and I love all the little pockets. I can't wait to use it in Disney!!
