I may be wrong but I think Smileybug meant did you check the times on Osbourne Lights and F! to make sure it wouldn't work? Because maybe it will? I'm not sure, I just think that's what she meant....

Fantasmic is at 6:30, Osbourne starts at 6pm so we couldnt see it before hand. It would have to be after. I am thinking if its over at 7pm(like everyone is saying) then we could see F! then head to Sci0Fi...the lights are right next door or down the road LOL) I just dont want to miss the lights.

what is everyones opinion on ending out trip with chef mickey's?

DD really wanted to do it and this is the only time i could fit it in.

Should we end our trip in a park?

What does everyone usually do for their last thing??

I think it's a great idea! We are ending with a late breakfast at O'hana to say good-bye to Mickey.

We are ending the trip with breakfast @ Cindy's Royal Table and a few hours in Magic Kingdom. If there's time we have a lunch ADR @ Liberty Tavern, but that will be cx'd if we need to be on the Magic Express before 2p (our flight out is at 5p).

Thank you so much for putting everything into perspective.... I think we have to do GFC...its our MVMCP night and unless I could get an early adr at WCC.... we are stuck lol

We are ending with Epcot and supper at LeCellier. And probably a stroll down Main Street and one more look at the Castle.

I don't see the problem here. The Lights are something that you stroll along the street and just enjoy. They are beautiful you spend time enjoying them and then you move on. But unless you make a point of being there for the little lighting ceremony. It isn't something you are going to want to spend a whole lot of time at. You would have to make a bee line over there because ya'll probably won't be the only ones trying to do it. But I don't see why it couldn't work.

Sometimes I think most of us do stress ourselves over our schedules.

I am doing one change though...well 2-changing our WCC the first night to N, changing our GFC to WCC and cancelling our F! package(didnt want MM really anyway) to 50's PT and then that leaves one empty night. possible doing T-Rex and RFC on the same day, I know same food but DTD is all about the kids then that frees up 2 ADRs from our park days....so no rushing around like craz ppl this is why I you guys....you dont tell me Im crazy.. you *may think it though* LOL

I'm booked to check in 11/6-11/17 if I wait and check in 11/9 (to get FD) I'll miss out on 2 park days 11/7 & 11/8 and I don't know if I can cancel the HDDR the night of the 6th. But by shaving these 3 nights and two days off my trip I'll save $1,700 Thats a lot of money! But I don't want to hange my plans! Even if I stay off property for those three nights buying the park passes will nearly put me where I am cost wise paying for dining the whole trip. I want the money and the longer vacation!!! HELP!

Also I pre-paid for PhotoPass before plus came out. Now aIm thinking of upgrading to plus but also want to share with two families (friends of my son) who will be there the same time frame. I dont know how that will work - can it work with the plus? I've not been to Disney in 10 years I know nothing about PhotoPass - Help again please!

Maybe check in on the 7th as room only? pay oop for any meals and then change HDDR for another night or pay OOP?

Where did you hear this?? I hope its true, because we are also staying off site on the 21&22 checking in on the 23rd for FD. Was just gonna do DTD & tour the deluxe resorts 2 look at Christmas decorations. We would rather go 2 the parks!

I know this conversation was a couple of pages ago...but I wanted to say that I have free dining booked with 2 day tickets. If you can get a cast member to book you at 1 day, it's worth another phone call. But 2 days is the minimum.

The photopass plus is hard to share because you get a card to use and it's only good for 14 days. The only way to share it with other people is if you will see them to give them the card and if all of your trips fall within 14 days.

I just called and a CM told me that you can't get your park tickets until the dasy you check into your hotel.

Hey Guys!!

Ok, I am so frustrated... Some of this is my fault... but, I have an FD pin for the dates I want to visit!!

The pin was in the Disney computers and I never received notification...... Anyway, the CM;s seem to give a little attitude when I tell them this...But the reluctantly look and find the code every time.

The inconsistancy comes in when I try to book the package... I have been told by 2 CM's that I need a 1 day ticket....by one just now that I need a two day ticket......

Do I just keep calling back and getting different answers?

This is overwhelming enough because I am really a beginner at the package... thing....

Anyway... just venting.. thanks for listening!!

It is frustrating when you get two different answers to the same question! The true minimum would be 2 day's of tickets. It used to be just one until a year or so ago.

Dont worry about confusing yourself because I am VERY confused at this point. I had it all figured out til someone said I wont be able to see the Osbourne lights AND do F! while trying to make our dinner ressie

I've been away all afternoon, but looks like you have resolved your dilemma yourself. I agree with smileybug that the Osborn lights can be seen easily with no need to be there when they do the lighting ceremony. It is neat to catch the synchronized show that is done I think every hour. You listed possibly doing F! on Friday with a SciFi ressie. Could you go just for the lights that night? Also, dropping the F! package was a good move. I think you'll really enjoy 50's PT and SciFi. Have confidence in yourself. You are an amazing planner and I think you've got a winning combination.

With the new, improved menu, Coral Reef gets my nod. I love watching the fish swimming around while I eat!

Yep! That's what I was told when I asked the other day. I think doing room only for your first days, paying dining OOP and seeing if you can change HDDR to a later date would be your best choices. Good luck!
