It is part of your admission if you want to get in the standby line, or else you can purchase a dining/show package and have a guaranteed seat.

I'm going to guess that the DDP doesn't cover that?

Indeed it does.;)

ETA: it is 2 dining credits, though.

Hmm 2 credits.. I'm so frugal. What do they do exactly?? I don't celebrate christmas, so it may not be that important to me. I've never been during the holidays, so this is all new to me. We aren't doing MVMCP either. I just can't justify the cost. Maybe if my DD wasn't so young it's during here bed time.

It does...but we will be there for Neil Patrick Harris and it is always so crowded when he is there so we went for the package...I think you also get preffered seating i think. We are doing the lunch package with early show and its a little cheaper. We are eating at Coral Reef

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Side note...my brother just tct me and said he is thinking about *maybe* proposing to his gf at the castle :hug:
I'm not even sure if DD would sit for that long. She barely made it to the end of Brave. I'm sure it's pretty, but I converted to Judaism for a reason. Plus or exchange student is Muslim. I do love the orchestra though. Does this happen after Epcot is closed, or can you still walk around and do things while it is going on? I'm full of questions today :)
Well that's neat. It would be nice to hear the music, and maybe things won't be crowded if everyone is paying attention to that :)
So I just saw about the Osborne lights. We have dinner reservations at DTD at 6pm, are we going to be able to make it back to DHS, or should we just eat in the park? I didn't even know it was going on. I have no clue how far DTD and DHS are.
they close at 8pm...if it were me, id eat in the park... we have a lunch at mama melroses the seeing Fantasmic! Then we are seeing osbourne lights then dinner at sci-fi...you get to eat in cars like at an old fashioned drive in! Its neat! We also like 50's primetime cafe but not everyone likes the antics there
well if you are taking disney transportation-which we are- you cant get to DHS from DTD as ppl like to park free there and go to the parks...no bus goes from DTD to a park.
What are your plans for the day in question...we can help!
That's why we went to DTD none of the food at the TS places looked that great. Maybe a big lunch and a CS dinner?? I forgot about fantasmic.
is DTD your whole day? Or is it a DHS day?
I would never make an entire day at DTD. I normally don't at DhS it bores me. Originally we were going to go to DHS after an early lunch, and leave to go to dinner. I doubt we will use Disney transportation. Quicker just to drive. We were just planning to stay a couple hours then go to DTD for dinner. Now that the lights are there I have no clue.
Could do an early lunch at DTD then go to DHS.
personally I would do this... maybe do a late lunch or early dinner at DTD and leave about 5:30 to go to DHS to see the lights. the are from 6-8 so even if you left DTD at 6:30 you still have an hour or so. I would just move your dinner ressie to 430 and do an early dinner. Or do a late lunch and eat at 230-300 then walk around..
That sounds good! You will love the lights they are so neat when they dance to music!!! That way you still get DTD and DHS!
Go DTD at 10 walk do lunch either stick around or take DD2 to nap, or got to DHS. If she naps maybe get to DhS by 230ish. Do the coaster,tower of terror, and a couple things, lights and fantasmic. I think in April we were there until 2. Wednesday is a non park day so we might go to DtD then to walk around. We have reservations at WPC for dinner, but we are going to possibly do the express for lunch on that Wednesday. Wonder how TRex is?
The Osborne Spectacle of Lights aren't on all night long? We're going at Christmas for our first time and def. want to see them and do Fantasmic, also. Thanks.
