Well I took Kaileigh to the doctor. She has hand foot mouth....how do you even get that? :confused3 At least it isn't what I thought it might be. The last time she had a UTI and only complained her stomach her and I thought that might be it again since she was complaining about her tummy. I researched it and there doesn't seem to be much on it. But the doctor told me she has seen alot of cases of it lately. So apparently it is going around. On a better note....at least it is now and not right before our trip.

My DS2 has had it this week! Not fun! Apparently most kids with it don't itch... well my son's did! He was up ALL night the first night! Took me awhile 2 figure out that his hands & feet were itching! Poor baby...:sad2:

Just did some this weekend and did a replacement one today. I think the key is pulling that dental glass extremely tight and putting about 3 of the wider rubber bands extremely tight around the base of the string after cinching it. Be sure not to go above the cinched floss with the bands, but below it. I also wrapped the Mickey part in plastic wrap while dying the rest of the shirt and did the Mickey part last (opposite of what some instructions say). The reason for my re-do is accidentally cutting my shirt when clipping the tight bands/floss at the end so be careful with that. I am very happy with all 4 (well, 5 with holes) of the sharpness of the head.

Oooowww, goody. Glad yours came out good. Guess we'll have to try it out and see what happens.:thumbsup2

We are surprising DD with our November trip. We'll tell her two weeks before we go so she has some time to be excited but not so much time that she drives me crazy with being impatient....I'm impatient enough for both of us...I don't need her help!

How are you surprising your DD? We are going to Disney for the first time with our two boys, DS (9) and DS (6). They have no idea, and I think we're going to tell them about two weeks before also. It's so hard to keep it a secret!

Keeping the secret isn't easy. It helps that we talk about Disney even when we aren't planning a trip. She knows we are going at some point because we had to postpone our June trip, but she doesn't know that we are going in November. I've already slipped once. I said something about someone on the Dis that was going the same time as us and she said...but we don't know when we're going...I responded..well, when I want us to go.

We are telling her the night of her First Reconcilation. I made 8 clues for a treasure hunt. She loves to do those. I've done a couple for small prizes, just for fun. Each clue has a different character pic on it with a clue for the location of the next clue. When she gets to the last place there will be a small box. When she opens the box there will be balloons in it, as well as the personalized maps I ordered, scrapbook stickers and whatever else I pick up along the way.

We are surprising our 4 girls with our trip in NOv also. The last time we went was 4 years ago, and the youngest (almost 6) barely remembers it! We are picking them up from school on Thurs and telling them we are taking them out to a special lunch, but we need to stop at home first (school, home, and wendy's or mcd's are all within like 2-3 blocks of each other). When we get home, we'll have a bunch of dollar tree balloons (some plain, some Disney floating around the Living Room). ONe of them (or a couple) will have little tags attached saying, "We're leaving today for WDW". We'll already have the car loaded and give them a couple minutes to grab anything they HAVE to have that we didn't pack. Than we'll be off! :) I just have to figure out a way to tell their teachers and possibly get homework for them to do on the trip! The hardest part is keeping it a secret! They are constantly seeing me on the computer and checking different Disney sites. I just tell a white lie and tell them I am doing some research for my 2 best friends who are disney fans also! :) It's fun, but it's been hard not to slip!

How fun. We surprised DD last year when we went on a cruise. I walked into school to pick her up and when we turned the corner to walk to the car DH was there with the videocamera. She knew something was up. When we told her we were leaving right then for a cruise she didn't believe us. We had to show her the luggage in the back of the car. She was soooo excited!

I'm unsure whether or not to do the Christmas party the same day I do mk or do it after I get done with animal kingdom but I have reservations at cape may at 5:15 so I'm not sure if it worth missing out and getting there late, ugh my poor Dh has to hear me all day I keep changing things around we both just want everything to work out I am also wanting to go to mk twice just in case we don't get everything done, but we always do

Awww poor baby. She doesn't have any itching just complaining her ears and throat hurt. And we are still fighting the fever. I had to let the parents know of the kids she has been around. Hope he feels better.

BTW, just read this on easywdw

Word is that Passholder Previews of “New Fantasyland” are coming in November. One would imagine that would mean early November, with the entire area (minus the Mine Coaster) being fully operational by Thanksgiving. Woo hoo.

I hope everything is open by Thanksgiving!

Is the sale only for the 6th in November?

It's really easy to get, and going around badly. The new strain is affecting adults also, and is very bad. I got it 3 or 4 days after DD. I hope the dr gave you instructions for the maalox/Benadryl mouth numbing mixture. It really helps. I had it the begining of June, and my finger nails are falling. It's pretty gross. It's also still contagious in fecal matter up to 6 weeks later. My dr never told us that, but the pharmacist did. It's horrible, but it's done and over fairly quick.

My cousins child just had that...it must be going around. My daughter on the other hand has had Fifths disease 2x this year.... where is it coming from!

Your plan sounds great! I'm thinking we need to give the teachers a heads up a few weeks after school starts. However, I don't want to tell because I'm afraid the teachers will slip up and tell about the surprise! They've got so many kids that it would be easy to happen, after all, it's hard for DH and I to keep the secret. :) I'm hoping that it won't be a problem and the boys won't have to take too much homework.

I bet you're so happy you got that on camera! :cool1:

We're not big fans of AK, we might spend 1/2 day there, so I'm doing MVMCP on AK day, along with 2 more full days planned for MK.

Does anyone have any idea when the reservations for November will open up? Will they open the whole month at the same time? Want to make reservations for my mother and I. I think she will really enjoy this, she loves her sweets.:cool1:
