Good afternoon!! I am new to the disboards....will be traveling to DisneyWorld 13-23 November. My kids keep telling me enough Disney talk already (they have no idea how much planning is required), so I am glad to have a group of people that are as excited as I am....

Just a little update on BOG...don't get too excited...no date set for making ADRs yet!! But it does say only 1 CS for lunch and 1 TS for dinner, thought I had heard it was going to be 2! Guess it's more waiting!!

Hi, we are heading to the Beach Club late November until just as Pop Warner starts .
ADRs made (but for the odd one or two we will finalize closer to the date because we reserved what we REALLY wanted for this trip already), touring plans are outlined, pins and t-shirts have been bought for trip. Only 4 more loooong months to go....

On a side note... I have been sewing shirts today and I JUST got done tie dying 12 shirts now I have to let them sit overnight and wash them tomorrow...then we can see how they came out. Im nervous that they wont turn out

BTW how long does it take for the Facebook acceptance? I applied several days ago, so just wondering. I know you are super busy. But I miss all the activity on this thread!

Good Morning all!!

I have another busy day of work ahead.....have to go to Baltimore (Glen Burnie) to see a patient. I hate those long drives esp. when I just did that trip on Monday. Oh well, thankful to have a job to be able to pay for this trip so I don't mean to complain but I just hate the long driving.

I will check in later on this afternoon. Hope everyone has a wonderful magical day!!

Still trying to convince DH of our NEED for this trip - lol - but he is considering the WL since we will probably be staying only 4 nights or so, and he wants the better dining plan.

What do you guys think of the Saturday after thanksgiving through that Wednesday???? Crowds? Pop Warner? MVMCP???

What do you guys think of the Saturday after thanksgiving through that Wednesday???? Crowds? Pop Warner? MVMCP???

Can ya'll possibly do Sunday through Thursday? Saturday can still be busy. The MVMCP is a must do for us. But that is just us. Its become our tradition. I don't think Pop Warner starts until the Saturday after you leave Disney. (Not totally sure though) And if you haven't stayed there yet.....You will LOVE the WL. I can't seem to get DH and I into any other resort. Happy planning!!

That wonderful! The Saturday *may* be busy... can you do Sunday thru thursday??? POP crowds come in Thursday and I have heard that they have a after 4pm discount pass so not in the park too much.....We are coming in on that Sunday too. I would do MVMCP on the Tuesday(we are too) because the locals go to the weekend parties so shouldnt be overly crowded. Touring plans has the crowd levels starting to go down on Sunday then level out Mon-Thurs

UH I should have finished reading! Yes that was gonna be our plan if we did come in on sat-do either DTD or resort hop.... still do MVMCP on tues though... and yes EVERYONE has to see it snow on Main street just once!!!! Yes all resorts HAVE to be done by Thanksgiving.... Parks start first week in November

Ya'll will fine even if you decide to go into the parks. This is the only time we go so I have nothing else to compare it to. The week after Thanksgiving has always been a low time. But the last few years it is getting a bit busier. This year we are arriving on the Friday after Thanksgiving. The only thing I have planned for us is supper at 1900 Park Fare. And hanging out at the WL and exploring. Saturday we are going into Epcot and doing the CLP that day. Sunday we will be starting the day with MK and ending up in DHS. One of the best things you can do is utilize a crowd calendar and the EEMHs (extra evening magic hours). This year we are there from Nov. 23rd to Dec. 2nd and EasyWDW and TouringPlans have been very valuable sources to me.


The WL is beautiful during the holidays!!
