NOVEMBER 2012 Trip Planners Part 2~yes there IS another!

We enjoyed both dinner and breakfast there. Not my favorite meal, but not bad either. The characters are great.

to be honest, take every review with a grain of salt. Don't let people throw you off.....i used to hear horrible things about Ohana dinner and we loved it, our favorite now (and appears it is getting more popular now too). So i say try everything for yourself at least once!

On flights, no luck for us. Still looking at $440 direct and $400 connecting. SW didn't help, since they connect and they are looking close to $500 for us. ugh! So still waiting. Driving me crazy as i like to book my flights super early.

Maybe the 4th of July sale....was it you that said they have one? Maybe they will come down over the summer. Keep checking! Out price point was $150pp and at $152(esp Turkeyday weekend) I jumped. Maybe not the best Idea but to get the best time we had to...2 flights have already sold out that day

I was hoping for some better deals than what I currently see for airfare. I've checked 3 different airports (all within 1 - 2 hours) and South West seems to have the best prices/non-stop flights/time choices but I am still having a hard time convincing myself to buy!!

$1046 RT for 4 vs. 11 hours in the van with a 8 & 6 year old

In 2009 we paid $463, 2010 $580, and 2011 $900 (which I wasn't happy about but my husband was adamant)...

How does everyone else feel? Anyone familiar with how the credit card promo works? Would it benefit me to activate a card and make a purchase to get the promo? Or would airfare go up before I was even able to take advantage

I'm not sure the offer is still going on but I would try. You can always use the points within a year if you want to cancel the card before the 2nd annual fee hits.

I just paid $280 plus taxes so $301 total for each ticket (mine were free) out of Philly. Price has already gone up to $325.

Using points for 3 tickets it came to 50,400 and we only had 50,250 or so in each of our accounts so I had to split it 2 and 1.

We are also flying out of BWI, even though it's the furthest airport to us but I did the credit card deal as well and have 50,000 points which gets me 3 R/T tkts now.

Each way we leave 6am and depart MCo and 8pm and we got 3 free and paid for 2

We drive 11 hours vs spend the money or points. Last time we went my kids were 2 and 5, and they were fine. We hooked up the portable DVD players and 6 Disney movies later we were there! Our dvd player only gets hooked up for long trips so it is a treat for them.

You can look to see how many points your flights would cost, then you can decide if it would be worth it.

$150 from baltimore seems to be the price around here so considering your traveling father, I think the price is good! Im only 2 hours away!

We are like 1/2 way between BWI and Philly...have flown out of both

Got a $138 flight out of PHL and $151 flight back..BWI was a tad more $$ and the times weren't as user friendly for us...

So I am a little bummed. I called on Tuesday and I had the Free Dining pin. I called back today to book it, because I need to check if it was ok with the people I am traveling with to switch from a room only to a package and now they say I do not have any Pins. Such a bummer. It will all work out. I know free dining will come out, but I am so dissapointed.

They could see where I called on Tuesday and was told about the pin, however they said I did not have a pin. I spoke with a manager and she checked as well. She was nice about it, but I still a little pissed about it. Oh well, hopefully a public offer will come soon.

Got our roundtrip flights on SW from Philly..11/9 to 11/15...$138 down..$151 back..

OK with the prices...now c'mon Free Dining!!!!!!!!!!!

Just give them a call and ask about FD, I did that over the weekend and was given a list of dates to choose from. I was so excited and I am sure if you call they can do same for you before it goes public. Give it a try!!
