NOVEMBER 2012 Trip Planners Part 2~yes there IS another!

Okay - really need input from fellow November planners. We are currently booked for 11/19 - 11/24 at BWI. We are arriving late on the 19th so will have very little park time, maybe an hour. I was able to use AAA discount which saved us about $400.

Now, I know this week is insanely busy and that we may have one full day where we actually get to ride everything we want (11/20) - after that, probably not so much.

I am very much thinking of moving our dates to 11/22 (arriving around 11:30 am) through 11/27. Now, this will give us maybe two full days to enjoy the parks without the massive crowds (Sun, Mon) and I might be able to take advantage of any discounts offered (my best guess is they will start up on the 24th). I could keep the AAA discount for 11/22 and 11/23, I think.

I also would get to attend one of the MVMCP.

Now, here is the gotcha - this may cost me $200 to change my airfare. WWYD?

I would do it! Especially if you arent going back for a few years. If you are I probably wouldnt

Hmmm, not sure if I could really say I wouldn't be going back for a few years - probably will not be back next year, but most likely will in 2014 cuz I just have to see the Mine ride.

I got a Disney Destinations email this morning with a 30% discount for "select resorts" through the end of September!! :yay::yay: They're getting closer to the end of November!!! :cheer2::cheer2::cheer2::cheer2:

Made my adrs this morning...:woohoo:

Got all the ressies at all the times we wanted. Painless on line...

Now let's hurry up and get those flight times...:cool1:

I get to make mine next Monday!! I am glad it's then, because we are going out of town for a wedding this Wed through Sunday. ::yes::

Need a little input on my plans: (traveling with 3 & 5 y/o girls)
Driving in on Nov 10th with res starting on 11th
11/11: arrive early- BBB in am - MK and Tree/Castle lighting with CRT around 6:15
11/12: MK - followed by boat from POR to Downtown Dis (or res at Cali Grill)
11/13: AK - lunch res at Tusker - afternoon rest - Electric parade at MK at 7:00
11/14: HS - afternoon rest - Osborne lights
11/15: Epcot - afternoon rest - MVMCP
11/16: MK with am res at Crystal Palace - afternoon rest - Spirit of Aloha at 5 follwed by wishes from Poly beach
11/17: check out with a late breakfast res at Chef Mickey rest of the day in the park that we want to go back to...

Am I trying to do too much? What is the earliest they will let me check in (store bags and get passes) at POR on my arrival day? Any advice appreciated :). We honeymooned at Disney in 2000 - but have not been back and we now have our little girls! I can make may ADRs in two days and I'm starting to panic!!!!!!!

It's great to know everyone here is getting all their ADRs done. :) Just half a year left to go!:woohoo:

We will only be able to make our ADRs in late May (most likely after the Dec park hours are released). And since we're planning to do mostly CS meals, we will not be making that many ADRs. But I do have in mind the following...

* 1900 Park Fare Character B'fast on the morning of our chosen MVMCP day
* Biergarten lunch or dinner for Candlelight Processional package:santa:

And like a number of you here, we too would like to dine at Be Our Guest. Let's hope the restaurant will be ready by Nov! :shamrock:

Of course, it's very likely that we will be changing our minds between now and late May!! Haha!

Is anyone else still waiting for their points to be credited from Southwest/Chase? In my case 100,000 points.

Depending on how late you plan to stay at the MVMCP, I'm not sure I would make breakfast ADRs at CP the following morning unless it was for a late breakfast/brunch type thing. We went to the MVMCP when my kids were the same age as yours, and they managed to make it to the end, but we were leaving the next morning (and driving) so we let them sleep late while we packed up and loaded the vehicle.

That would be my only concern. Other than that, it looks great!!!

Thank You for your feedback - I had not thought about that - may change those to a late breakfast of lunch :)

Made ADRs this morning and got everything we wanted! :cool1:

Tell me what you think (but only if you agree since I don't want to change anything :rotfl2:)

11/9 MK: Crystal Palace dinner
11/10 AK: Park Fare bfast, pool time at POR (we don't spend long at AK)
11/11 Legoland!
11/12 MK: BBB at 8am, CRT bfast
11/13 EP: 'Ohana's bfast and dinner (I know twice but we love that place!)
11/14 DHS: Sci-Fi lunch
11/15 EP: LeCellier lunch
11/16 MK: Pirate day! Pirates league 1pm, pirates and pals fireworks cruise
11/17 EP: Akershus bfast. Hoping to get an evening flight home. Just waiting for SW to post flights!

So what do you think?

ETA~would love to get BOG on one of our MK days!!!

FYI for November trip planners - Magical Vacations Travel released an agency exclusive offer for November. Looks like dates are October 27 - November 3, November 3 - November 10 and November 18 - November 25. They only seem to offer Deluxe Resorts. We have done the late October one many times - love it!

Just joined Dis this year (and I love it). Nobody at home wants to go ( :confused3) so two of my best friends and I are leaving theirs at home, too, and we're going for a week in November. It's our first time for Christmas so we're very excited. We're doing the MVMCP and staying in the brand new resort, also! pixiedust:
