Always hold out for SW..sometimes go out of Philly, but BWI is only slightly farther and the flight times are much better for us..since there are 11 of us, we need to plan carefully.

See, I would not have minded holding out for SW if they released them in early to mid May, but I preferred to have that aspect of the trip taken care of once dates were verified, since the funds were budgeted and available. The other side is what could the tickets cost once released.

Can I get the odds of the meal plan extending through November? We plan on going nov 11th-17th. Also is there some place Ican get a shorthand guide for the abbreviations you guys use LOL CRT?

Question...what airline did you choose?

We did JetBlue, out of National to MCO and back. For 2 people, had we booked when the flights first opened, would have been $380, but we had a license snafu, so by the time we had it fixed, it was $481. It is now up to $567 for 2 people.

Bag fees, since the first bag per person is free, was not really a worry for us, as we never had too much coming or going, as anything that big, heavy, or valuable, we arranged for shipping while at the parks

Been MIA again, but found the new thread. Hoping to keep up more now. It's just been super crazy at work and that is when I mostly visit the boards. I have a lot of reading to do!!!

Only 12 days til I make our ADRs and I haven't really finalized our new plan since the hours came out.

I am still debating on MVMCP- I am leaning towards doing it Monday night, 11/12. The other option is that Thursday, 11/15, but i hate to do it so late in our trip. I like doing it in the middle, since we make that day a 'rest day' before the party. Still so much to do and plan!!!

Hi! DH, DD 6 and I going Nov 10th thru 17th (possibly 18th if our wait list comes thru ) and I wondered if we could be added to the list. We're staying at BLT and we're so........ excited!!

Hi everyone! I thought I had all of our ADRs planned out but of course we are changing things now that we are less than a week away from being able to book them!

So, originally the only breakfasts we were doing were 2 at Boma (because it's that good) and Tusker House at AK. But- I keep seeing reviews of Crystal Palace and getting in MK before crowds to take a few pictures sounds great. Have any of you done breakfast there? The reason I'm iffy about is it that we are doing the Keys to the Kingdom tour at 9:30, so if I can book the earliest CP ADR, will we have enough time to eat and be out by around 9? Would we be better off just not doing breakfast that morning?

It might be tight, but if you were one of the first seated and didn't mind skipping out early, you could do it. Sometimes the characters can take a while to make the rounds at CP, which means if Tigger hasn't made his way to you, you might have to wait longer or just miss him. It's doable, but will be close. If you can get an 8am and be there early enough to be one of the first in, it's pretty doable. Enjoy KTTK- i had a blast on it!

Is anyone making anything for their trip? I mean above and beyond planning journals...

Animal Kingdom shirts
pressed penny holders
hair bows to match DD #3 outfits(since she is only 4, I can still get away with it lol)
I wanna make something Christmasy

I plan to order a shirt for my DS on etsy- we do one every year that says how old he is- he turns 5 about a week before our trip. I always find cute shirts on etsy with embroidered mickeys! I will order him a custom shutterfly autograph book again like we did last year- he loved it and we got so many comments on it.

for MK- we love Cosmic Ray's for the variety, although I hear they changed their menu recently and no longer offer the ribs/chicken combo. Fun listening to Sonny Eclipse sing! We also enjoy Pecos Bill's. I am not a seafood person, but Columbia Harbor house is great if you are- plus the upstairs seating is so private and quiet usually unless in peak season. We also tried the new Tortuga Tavern by POTC, well not new, but newly named. It was a nice change to have some mexican food.

For TS at MK- I do enjoy Liberty Tree Tavern, but we haven't been back since they got rid of the character meal, but I think the food is still the same. We also enjoy CP breakfast buffet.

for AK CS- our favorite is Flame Tree Barbeque- some great seating options outside down by the water for wonderful views!

We get to the Dis on 11/9 and I can make ur ADRs on May 13th..

We'll be at the Wilderness Lodge! So excited! We haven't been in three years and are in serious withdrawl!!!!!! I have learned so much from these boards!!!

If you get the earliest one I would say thats doable! The couple of times we have gone we've been one of the first seated and are always done before 9. They stagger seatings a bit so the characters move faster since not all the tables are full in the beginning. The only extra thing I would do would be to pay when you sit down, getting the check and change has been the only thing that slows us from getting out, otherwise it is a buffet so you can make it as slow or quick as you like.

Flights BOOKED!!!! I wanted to wait until SW released their flights for Nov, but just couldn't do it. Plus, DBF oh so kindly applied some of his visa points towards the venture, so we saved $200...turns out, he is useful So excited to have SOMETHING done!!!!! No turning back now....LOVE IT

My family of 5 will be arriving Nov 8th to the 17th . My Wife and I are trying to keep it a secret from are 3 kids as long as possible. I have are flights (thanks Airmiles ) and Resort (Allstar Music family suite) booked. I am just trying to figure out our ADR's.

I have a ton of questions but one that is kinda bugging me is how people know when certain events are happening ( Fatasmic, mickey's xmas party ect) are happening ? I can find Park hours but no event calendars yet.

A way to know when the parties at MK are is look to see when they close at 7PM and do not have extra evening hours. Odds are something will be happening that evening.

For the most part, Fantasmic will run every night your trip is planned, with 2 exceptions, the 8th and the 13th. The 8th the park is closing at 4 PM, rumored to be the Osborne lights kick off event for VIPs, etc.

We don't really know for absolute certian yet. We are guessing based on what we know about what has happened in years past. For MVMCP, any day MK closes at 7 will more than likely be a party day. Fantasmic usually happens every night at 6:30 and some nights will offer a second dhow. That will likely be added closer to Nov. Wishes is typically at 10 and Illuminations at 9 in november, but some days surrounding Thanksgiving are pushed to 9:30. We are working under the assumption that this will stay the same.

Have you looked at the new AoA resort for family suites? It is the same price as All star music, but the suites are really neat and were desigend as 2 room suites, not just 2 rooms cobbled together. They will be themed Lion King, Finding Nemo, and Cars. We are a family of 3, so we are staying in the standard rooms in the Little Mermaid section. It might be worth checking out.

We looked at AoA for what ever reason ( Think it had something to do with kids ages DD 7 DS 10 DD 13) we booked All Stat music. I may have another look at AoA. Makes me a little nervous having it been so new.

Does anyone ever change their park days based on either TP or easywdw crowd reccomendations? I am thinking about changing 2 of my park days. Easywdw had AK listed as a must do for Monday nov 26th(our dhs day) and on wed, DHS (our ak day ) I could switch them with no problem. We were going to do the Fantasmic! package but I cant find anything at MM that interests me!
