NOVEMBER 2012 Trip Planners Part 2~yes there IS another!

We do the park hopper so we can come and go as we want. We also like the morning EMH since we are morning people. We did the down time on our last trip and loved it. This time I am hoping to do some evening EMH and sleeping in a bit some mornings.

If you had to pick a party night for the Christmas party...what night of the week would you pick?

I used their envelope template then just added my own pictures and wording to it. Pretty simple actually and doesn't take too much time after finding the pictures you want to use. I've made ones for TH, CP, CMC, GG, KC, Sci-Fi, T-Rex, TTS, Ohana, WC, & BOG just in case. My husband thinks I'm nuts too....ooh well its FUN to plan.

I have to agree with this. Tuesday night has always been our night of choice for the party.

I think being nuts just makes the planning that much more fun.

Hey, y'all!

I've been monkeying around with my plans again, and my trip information on the front page is out of date.

I'm now arriving November 19th, and staying until December 2nd. We're doing an AKL/ Dolphin/ Poly split. Yay!

Now I'm stepping away from the computer before I make any more changes... this reservation-changing is getting out of hand!

As a first timer to Disney, I thought the idea of magic hours was to make the most of them. Reading easywdw its recommendations are to stay away from those. Whats the consensus from people here .. use them or avoid magic hours ??

We have never used the morning ones- being there at 9 is early enough for us on vacation, but really enjoyed using the PM EMH at Hollywood Studios. We got to ride TSM, do One Man's Dream, and something else all in the hour before closing- it was great!

For those who've gone the week before thanksgiving in years past, would I be doing my kids a disservice by going against wdweasy's advice and hitting MK on an EMH day. Just thinking that a 3 and 16 month old is not going to make it real late anyhow but I could get them going early and take advantage. I used tp on our last trip and he was dead on. I trust dis users and wdweasy comes highly recommended. Just wondering which way to go. TIA

We will be there the same week and I'm not certain which day you are talking about (11 OR 15). If its the 15th then I wouldn't worry to much about crowds, then again thats a MVMCP day so I have a feeling your talking about the 11th. The 11th might be another story seeing that its a very busy weekend with the Wine and Dine Marathon, Festival of the Masters, last F&WF weekend, and Veterans Day weekend. I'm not sure I would want to visit MK on the busiest day of the week, then again the other activities could pull people in other directions. Sorry I can't be of any help, just giving you a few things to think about.

See, if the dates hold up, I am stuck with either Friday the 9th, or Monday the 12th (Veterans' Day). I probably will do both of them, just to make sure we have time to do all pictures, etc; but I am hoping that it being November 9th, and the first party, not too many locals will want to attend.

Ugh... I was afraid of this. Woke up at 3am to make my reservations, waited until I could book my first day to know the system switched over to 180 aaaaand.. can't go any further. It has my reservation in there, it will take my conf # but then STILL not let me do my +10! Now I have to stay awake until 4am to talk to someone on the phone to try and get it resolved while everyone who is able to go online starts nabbing all the availability. I could just cry, I don't know which part is worse, how exhausted I will be all day or knowing that this hour may cost me reservations!

I even tried just booking a one night regular reservation thinking it might be because I'm staying on rented points, but it will not take that # either, so I'll have to make sure I have them cancel it right away.
