I was just in Disneys online store looking at the coffee mugs. I want them all.

I don't drink coffee and I still want them! :surfweb:

This may be a crazy question but here goes.. .. I love the tip envelopes. But we are traveling with a large group and will have the automatic 18% added I assume. This will be put on our card. I would still like to leave a token of Disney thanks on the table. Is there anything out there like this? What are your plans for this if traveling with a group? TIA!

Are you wanting leaving a little thank you note type card? If so, I think there are some designers who make thank you cards. Just post a thread asking if anyone has them. I know someone does, but I'm not sure who.

I have this Baggallini too, in black :thumbsup2 i've used it for several years and theres not a bit of wear and tear. It's a very well made bag. My husband will even carry it, which is why i went with a neutral color.
I also have a Victorias Secret Pink backpack that i use. It has a drawstring top and is very light weight .
For this trip i'm planning on buying one of the new Small World themed Lesportsacs. They are super cute!!

Well, DH will be carrying his 50 lb camera backpack so I'm know he won't be helping with my bag. ;)

my neighbors husband who we will call Joe (who I never really talk to but they have been to Disney tons of times) and I were talking about Fantasmic the other night and I said how I cant figure out how to put that and T-Rex into our schedule. He said that he would drop T-Rex in a heartbeat for F!. I wasnt sure(something didnt sit right with me. I knew if I kept thinking about it I would figure it out) Well Joe went home and told his wife who we will call Mandy(who I do talk to alot) that he could NEVER go on a vaca where everything was planned like that. Now my other neighbor, Jen told me that Mandy told her thats what Joe said and they all laughed and I told her Im not obsessed, I just like to plan where we eat our TS meal and which park that day but beyond that...nothing. My sister in law went to Disney 2 yrs ago and had NOTHING planned at all and they came back and told me I was right to plan everything, Now Joe did tell me that next time they go, he will do the Dining plan. So maybe they are just 'wing it' ppl. not me!!!!

My BF left one morning for vacation planning to go to Six Flags in Atlanta, then after driving for an hour decided to go Disney instead. :scared1: They went there with no reservations, no plans, no tickets...NOTHING! :scared1: And you know what, they had a great time! :woohoo: Me...I would have had a heart attack! We are polar opposites, but we get each other.

Anyone eaten in CRT before and can answer a question? I heard the CM say gratuity IS included in this meal?

Yes, gratuity IS included at CRT. :thumbsup2

I carry it in the front or on my side. I just flip it. Its versitile I can even rest my arm on it lol cuz Im short :goodvibes

Hmmm... I'll have to look into it a little more. Do you know if the baggallini brand is sold in stores? I'd like to see it before I buy it.

Yay!! I finally figured out how to get my ticker posted! :rotfl: Here's a question, I wanted a reservation for dinner at the Biergarten, but couldn't fit it in my schedule, so I made a lunch reservation. Does anyone know if there is much of a difference other than dinner having a few more options on the buffet? I am eating at 1:45 then heading over to MVMCP that evening, we want to fill up before the party! So excited to eat there!!:yay:

We have done Biergarten twice...both for lunch. Fabulous selection. Lots of fun for the little ones to get up front and dance, or just sit on the floor together for the Christmas story telling...and get their chocolate coin. The kids always want to go back for the fun and the parents for the food!

I found a store in town that is supposed to have a nice selection of Baggallini bags so I guess I'll be making a trip into town next weekend. :) Of course, had I known or thought about it yesterday, I was less than a mile from the store. Oh well, I certainly don't mind going shopping some more!

Thanks, luvallprincesses! :thumbsup2 Sounds like it will be just as fun for lunch as it would be for dinner. Glad to hear you had a fun time!

Now let me see if I can explain this right lol.... In 2010 we had a group of 10, 7 were on a dining plan and 3 were not. They paid oop. Now my family of 5 and then my brother and his wife were on the Dp. The bottom of our receipt HAD the tip automatically put on it.(usually around $20 for some reason lol) and each check had a tip and it actually did say pay this amount before you leave or something along that lines. It might have been total due, but still. If you were going to do something like an enevelope, you can still do that as its due for your family before you leave. How many do you have on your check? When we went in Dec, it was just DH and I and our tips were about $10-$13 so I imagine itll be around $20-$25 a meal. I think I will plan for $25 and then if its extra-yay me.

We have 6 adults and one child under 3. What I was thinking was that we would be able to add the tip to our room card which will be paid at check out. Are we able to do that? If we do that I would still like to leave a Disney thank you card. Does that make sense?

Happy Mom 2,.. I have that VB bag in a diff pattern--as far as it holding enough, it does for us. But, i don't know what all you are trying to get into it--i brought a small wallet for our room cards/tix, some snax for the kids, a camera and a few other small things and ended up with all our sunglasses several times and it was big enough for all that...I use it a lot, not just vacation. It has always had enough pockets and compartments for me..I go back and forth between that and the VB smaller back pack on vacation.
as far as planning--I have to do it.I would be very anxious to not have a plan of SOME sort...we plan what park per day or at least where we will be for the most part of the day and an ADR for each day at supper time. Other than that I don't plan minute by minute--at least not anymore. I don't have babies any longer that I have to work around nap time or anything like that-I am flexible in my rigidity! :lmao::rotfl2:

Yes, that makes sense. I am almost certain you can put the tip on your room card. Maybe someone can confirm. I think a little thank you card would be very nice.

Thanks. I don't carry a lot...KTTW, ID, camera, itinerary, and sunglasses, but I'm wondering if the kids autograph books will fit into it. I think they are 5 x 7 x 1, maybe a little smaller, and they each have one.

Flexible in my rigidity! I  it!

We are coming Nov 1-8th, so excited first trip to Disney since 2006 and way overdue. Can someone please add us to the roll call list for November. Also just to let you know if you call Disney and ask they are offering the free dining plan during that time. I was amazed at the rate I got and so excited!! I can hardly wait now.:banana:

Yes you can:) I dont because I like to 'pay' it to keep track of my money but you can :goodvibes

:welcome: and you are sure it included Free dining? There is no current FDing out and I do know that some ppl have had luck with just asking but others have not I will add you to our list!

We did both last trip and on the same night. I wouldnt hesitate to do both this trip! We are already doing MVMCP and if the DP is offered we will schedule it too! Alot of ppl say its a waste on a party niht but if thats the only time its offered for our trip. Ill do it. YOu get a beautiful view of the castle and you can watch it changing colors while eating your desserts( which if you like sweets...you will LOVE this! The choco covered strawberries are HUGE! :faint: and soooo yummy! ) MVMCP is neat, you have to atleast see in once. We loved the fireworks, and the parade. And to see it snow on Main St.... is :cloud9:  Its so neat!

Thanks! That's what I figured, that we should do MVMCP at least once. So unsure about the dessert party. Can't seem to nail down an actual price, but it seems like it would be awfully expensive for the 5 of us?

Anyone else have any thoughts/advice? (please!?)

Last time we went I to Disney I purchased a large crossover bag, but I'm not really happy with it. A backpack is not an option...for me, anyway. :goodvibes

I've thought about purchasing a Vera Bradley hipster, but I'm not sure that would work either because there aren't very many pockets. I like my stuff to be organized.

I've seen this bag recommended also. Most of the reviews are good. It's affordable, and I wouldn't have to worry about it getting wet. It also has lots of pockets to keep stuff organized. The only bad reviews stated that the straps snagged their clothes on the shoulder....

http://www.ebags.com/product/ebags/piazza-day-bag/94553?productid=1237311

And I think these are just adorable (she does custom orders for all different characters), but I'm not sure I want to pay that much for something I would only use at Disney. I think they are between $100 - $125, but I'm not sure...

Any thoughts, suggestions? What do you carry to the parks?

I'm pretty computer illiterate, so I can't post a pic or anything, but a carry bag that I bought at Mori Gifts a few several years ago. The brand is Lug. I wear the strap across my body and the bag on my hip. It's bright pink, so none of my menfolk will carry it, but DD sometimes takes a turn. I went in my closet to look at the brand and saw I have some glow sticks, Clorox wipes and rain ponchos left in there (awww!).:rotfl: I'd like a new bag, but it would have to be pretty darn perfect to replace this one. Lots of pockets and compartments.

I was just in Disneys online store looking at the coffee mugs. I want them all.

I usually want most EVERYTHING when I look on there!

I have this one by baggallini and LOVE IT! Its not too small and not too big. I have green and black(though use the black the most) it holds tons and is very comfy too! I put the money/meds/cards in the middle zipper and in the big part I had snacks, maps, and what not. They have another style thats a little more pricey but they have more colors http://www.ebags.com/product/baggal...le-nylon/47360?productid=10001433&rlid=DETAIL

Your last link, I messaged her and though they are pretty, they are PRICEY!!!

Those are nice looking bags. LOVE the aqua color!

I have a baggallini cross over bag in black. And I love it because DH carries it when we are in Disney!! :goodvibes Mine is more slimline than the ones ya'll have posted. I have had it for a while and do not have a link for it.

My DH just doesn't really want to carry my pink bag. He's probably glad it's pink though, cuz I'm sure he doesn't want to carry it at all anyway and it being PINK gives him a good excuse!:rotfl:

my neighbors husband who we will call Joe (who I never really talk to but they have been to Disney tons of times) and I were talking about Fantasmic the other night and I said how I cant figure out how to put that and T-Rex into our schedule. He said that he would drop T-Rex in a heartbeat for F!. I wasnt sure(something didnt sit right with me. So maybe they are just 'wing it' ppl. not me!!!!

I'm a planner anyway, but if you want to do any TS meals/are on the DP, you really NEED to plan, don't you?! I think it costs way too much to wing it!:confused3

I like the organization of the baggallini, but I don't like that it lies on your back for security reasons. Is it possible to carry it on the side? Any other suggestions? :confused3

I wouldn't like it on my back either, but I'd be willing to try what mommyof3 said... I would HAVE to have it on my right side (even though I'm left-handed...well more ambidextrous, actually) and it doesn't sound like I could...:confused3

http://www.ameribag.com/classic-healthy-back-bag/

I bought one of these for our last WDW trip. Love it! It will work as a back pack, slides to the front to get things out without having to take it off, can also be worn as a sholder bag. Lots of pockets. Big enough for water bottle & DS autograph book (the blue disney one) & a bunch of other stuff and mine is an extra small. Specialty luggage stores carry them. I got mine off of amazon. Ebags might also have them. You can get great prices on the nylon ones on sale.

It is now my go-to bag for the zoo, science center, etc....

Yes, it did most assuredly did include free dining. I was so excited and happy to get that believe me. Now are plans are set, we are all thrilled beyond measure to be going in November.

We got a Pin for Free Dining in November, so it is out there.

I know its out there. I got it too. The person said that they just called and asked. No PIN. I was just stating that its not a GP offer so you could call and ask if you had a PIN but Disney doesnt just hand out PIN codes unless its open to the General public

I think its $23.99 for adults and $12.99 for children

Well then congrats! And this deserves creepy dancing guy :dancer: I wasnt trying to be mean(I know posts are like txts and you cant show emotion easily) I just wanted to see if she said it was FDing then the other person told me the code is out. Yes I know its out but its not open to the general public just yet. Thats all. Sorry about the confusion :goodvibes
