Is there anything else we are waiting for? Are we waiting on anymore suprise openings anywhere? Please tell me that there won't be any surprises with packing. Maybe I should go and check the suitcases. Speaking of suitcases I'm thinking that this is going to be a 4 large case trip for hubby and I.

My parents are gonna kill me! I now have like 10 princess dresses to take! THey will drive them down

Thank goodness we do not have to worry about princess dresses. But I'm seriously thinking that for the 2 of us for 9 nights it will take 4. Last trip was 7 nights and we took 3 very full ones.

Just got my ressie! It's for 11/28 at 5:40. I did it through the automated system somehow. I was calling the dining number. Kept going back and forth between the 7675 number and the 3463 number and got through on the 3463 number. I had my finger poised to hang up when I heard that little pixie dust sound you get when you call.

Keep trying everyone!!

I feel a bit guilty since most of you have been trying since 7. Don't know how I got through. If anyone else wants 11/28, I was given 3 time choices if that helps once you get through. Tried to make another one for 12/5 and there were no times.

FINALLY AFTER 1 HR AND 40 MIN. I GOT OUR ADR FOR THANKSGIVING DINNER AT 6:15PM. I AM A HAPPY GIRL RIGHT NOW!!!

For those still frustrated and waiting, Call the disabilities # 407-939-7807 I got right thru, just ask them to transfer you.

Ok now I can go and have my coffee and go to work, knowing this is done!! Have an awesome day everyone!!!!

And now I feel like crying from the stress of the whole thing.

When I did the automated before I got put on hold this was true. Couldn't get the 2nd or the 5th, but could get 4:45 on the 9th :|

What a bummer so sorry to hear this. Like everyone is saying try again tomorrow.

While I was on hold, DH called me and I put Disney on hold while I talked briefly with him. When I went back, it looked as though I'd lost Disney, then my phone rang and it was a number I was not familiar with, but when I answered, it was the Disney hold music. Well, I was on hold a total of 25 minutes, talked with a girl, she put me on hold for 5 minutes, then transferred me to the people who apparently are handling all those second calls now. I think they all deserve a bonus in pay just for having to work this morning!!

My DH has no idea I upgraded to the reg dining, he still thinks we're doing QS! I was so excited to get BOG, I almost let it slip when he called. I think he'll be so excited about the TS meals, though. This was supposed to be our "budget" trip, but I've been squirreling money away above and beyond what we're saving for this trip. Can't wait...and tomorrow the Double Digit Dance!!

I do. I felt great when I got the ressie so quick and then found out about them canceling without the cc. I had to take my older son to the doctor and had to wait to try and get through. It was scary when they transferred me and then said they had to cancel the existing reservation and make a new one. Boy am I thankful to everyone on here for letting us know about the cc hold.

You're not kidding!! Here is something I copied from another post:

I've spoken with Disney and they've confirmed that ALL reservations that don't have a CC to support them will be flushed at 12:01 tonight. She also said that there were numerous "phantom bookings," where people who used the automated system and didn't secure with their credit cards were issued confirmation numbers for reservations, but because the reservation wasn't secured with a CC, it still showed as available in the system and others would have been able to book it. This is why so many people were able to get reservations using the automated system after agents were already saying that the days were booked.

In the event of a conflict, completed reservations with CC numbers are defaulted as the actual, real reservation, and the ones without the CC's are flushed. That first round of flushing has already occurred and you can see all over Facebook where people have called to attach CC's to reservations that are already long gone. That's why, for some, it's not a simple matter of attaching a CC to a reservation and they're having to rebook.

Bad news for those folks who didn't attach a CC, good news for the folks who didn't get reservations today. Another shot tomorrow for them.

Hi all,
My name is Julie, I just subscribed tothis thread today, and my family is headed to WDW 11/16-11/24. We will be at MVMCP on 11/16 (our first in 7 years & I'm giddy about it). We are going to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary (11/21/92) with our kids.

Today I am SOOO happy! I was able to get through after 2 hours of trying to secure a reservation at BoG at 4:30pm on THANKSGIVING!!!! I am so excited about FLE, this is just the icing on the cake for me!

I thrilled we get to go to MVMCP PLUS experience FLE. We did not get to see the icicle lights on Cinderella's Castle, so I am so excited to see it all lit up. Our 2005 trip was one of my favorite trips, nothing more beautiful than WDW during the holidays.

Happy Day! I hope everyone here was able to get their dream reservation too! Those phone lines were a nightmare.

so no offense to anyone but I am sorry for booking 2 adr's for BOG but I wanted them both but now decided I didnt....there are some rude ppl on th DIS BOG thread who arent happy I have 2 as they have been fighting ofr 1. I spent 1.5 hrs on there getting the first then another extended amount of time getting the other. I spent my faiir share of redialing 2 diff phones my fingers hurt.... I am doig the best I can to help some pple on her getting the one I dont need.... ok rant over. I am sorry again but some pl on the DIS are RUDE! NOt any of you of course

So sorry this happened. I was thinking of making 2 ressies so I could double check with DH about the times. I would have cancelled right away also.

Well I may not have scored BOG, but I did manage to get my early Ohana I wanted! So see there's the silver lining.

He is doing fine thank you for asking. He had to have a mole removed. It was a pretty quick procedure but now we just have to wait for the biopsy.

Don't worry about those other people. Maybe they were coming down from their caffeine rush and were grumpy! We are leaving on Nov 18, so no BOG for us, but glad for all who got ressies!

Congrats to all who got their BOG ressies. So glad I was not a part of all that....I looked at the menu and there is nothing I think DH will eat. DD will try almost anything.

DH wanted it twice this trip again and DD was asking about eating breakfast there with the characters. It is by far our family's favorite place for dinner.
