Good Morning Everyone!!!
Sounds like everyone's plans are coming together nicely and now we WAIT!!
Here's a question of the day:
When do you usually put your Christmas tree up? And is it artificial or real?
I usually have mine up by the first of December. We have had an artificial one for 3 years now. If it were up to me, we would still be cutting our own and have that awesome smell of pine in our house for a month or so. When we did that, we usually put it up two weeks before Christmas. I was seriously depressed the first year we didn't get a live tree, but DH just didn't want to fool with it any more.Still, I have wonderful memories of our family of 6 traipsing through the woods and picking out the "perfect" tree, cutting it down and later decorating it together.
Come on...tell us your stories!![]()
We put our tree up the weekend or week after Thanksgiving. We used to do a real tree, but when we had kids, the falling pine needles were a hazzard (DS was 6 mo old and putting anything in sight in his mouth!). I burn the Balsam and Cedar Yankee Candle. It smells so real! I had a neighbor once comment on how beautiful my "real" tree was not knowing it was an artificial tree with a candle burning on the mantle near it
