November 2012 thread - who's going?

Just booked our flights. We live in Houston, and my parents and sister are in Phoenix, so we usually fly to Phoenix, spend time with family, and then take a side trip to Disneyland (5 hour drive...not too bad). We will only be going for a few days ( 2 days in the parks- Tuesday and Wednesday, November 27-28) We are comtemplating doing a half day at Knott's because it's Law Enforcement month, so it would be free. Our kids are 4 and a half and one and a half, so I know there won't be too much for them at Knott's, but I have got to get some of that fried chicken!

Just booked us at the Ayres Hotel, Anaheim- that place has great reviews, and the price was really good.

We were just at Disneyland in February for a couple of days. With our kids so young, we figure 2 days mid week/off season would be sufficient. I just hope the crowds are really light. My 18 month old is SO squirmy....long lines would be harsh! She was only 10 months old in February, and in a baby bjorn, so that was so much easier!

SoundGuy and I are going nov12-16th. Staying at America's Best Inn. This is our last trip as AP holders. We have had a great year frequenting DL and even took a trip to WDW. It has been a blessing! We will be wearing our LGM and looking for fellow DISers. :0)

Can't believe we're under a month now! The only thing I'm waiting for is my ex to sign the permission paper tomorrow!:cool1:

I week from today and we will be on the tour

"Cultivating the Magic"

Our first tour ever!

We leave 3 weeks from today! We have so much going on between now and then that it will be a welcome relief to get in the car and start that drive!

I'm going!

I was there on a quick 2 day solo trip (business, with a couple of days of disney tacked on to the end) back in September and am going Nov 16, 17 and 18 with my folks, my brother and my 6 year old niece. Can't wait! My niece has never been before, and none of the rest of us have been there during the holiday decor, so I'm pretty excited.

I did experience the Nightmare Before Xmas HM overlay for Halloween time when I went in September, and I presume that this is exactly the same for the Holidays?

Anyway, I'm not sure what to expect crowd-wise. We'll be there over the weekend so I'd guess fairly busy, but hopefully not as busy as Thanksgiving weekend or earlier in the year during summer vacation.

Me and my best friend are going to Disneyland for the first time 9 days from now! Cant wait :) So happy we didn't plan our trip to leave this Wednesday because maybe we wouldn't get out with Sandy going through, we live in New England. Yay, for single digit countdown.

Our trip is coming up quickly too ... only a few more days. Right now I'm more excited about not being at work, but I know I'll be excited for the DIS when I leave for the airport Tuesday.

We're leaving Sunday morning and will be in Disneyland by 4!!!

Trying to get through the last 30 minutes of work and thinking about how much stuff I have to get done before we leave and praying my 2 year old's nose stops running!!

Were braving the crowds too 22nd - 25th. But I'm praying the crowds are not as bad as Christmas. Last time we visited Disneyland was Christmas 2010 and the crowds were unbelieveable.
We are sooooo excited to be going back!

I won this trip and it will be our first visit to DL. We'll be there Nov 30th-Dec 3 and we're staying at DLH. Can't wait!
