November 2012 thread - who's going?

Finally booked this morning after finding a seat sale and finding out DS16 gets a 5 day weekend over Remembrance day. I figured it was meant to be! :cool1:We will be there Nov 8-13 staying at BWPPI for the first time. (Carousel/ParkVue previous 10 times) Excited to see the Christmas stuff! :santa:

We will be there November 18 through the 21st. Haven't booked our hotel yet....better get started!

DW and I will be there 12-14th. Love the DIS boards resource! Went way out of our comfort zone for costs and elected to stay at GCH. We figure for us, this is a once in a lifetime event (staying/visiting for 3 days) and we may come back for day trips, but probably not an extended visit so we are splurging.

How are the crowds the weekend and week leading up to thanksgiving day??

Hi all! Just joined the boards and found this thread. We'll be going November 1-8. My girls are performing there in the ABC Christmas parade so its really exciting! I'm also going to be reuniting with my dad whom I haven't seen since I was 17. All around it should be an amazing and probably emotional time!

I noticed a couple mentions wondering what the official dates were for the holidays this year. USA Today released the dates November 12, 2012 through January 6, 2013. So it looks like I'll be there in between Halloween and Christmas celebrations. Anyone ever gone during those times? Any tips on what to expect decorations/character/show wise?

We will be at the GC from Nov 26th-30th; so EXCITED!!!! The last time I was at Disneyland during that week was 2004 and it was so beautiful with all the decorations and a slight chill in the air in the evenings and early morning.

We'll be arriving on the 17th and staying at the HOJO for our first ever trip to Disneyland. We've booked the Welcome Tour on the 18th and the Holiday Tour on the 19th.

Maybe we'll run into you - we'll be at HOJO from 11/16-11/23.

4 weeks! AHHHH!

I'll be in the parks the 14-16th
Holiday tour and F! dessert the 16th!
If anyone else is doing those events that Friday I'll see you there :goodvibes

one more week to go!!!:banana::banana::banana:
cannot believe it!!
we will be skipping Fantasmic and WOC due to young age of my kids (4 & 1) But I believe we will still have a blast!!! pixiedust:pixiedust:

I just checked the extended weather forecast for our trip (we will be in the parks Nov. 14-17) and it's predicted to be high 70's to low 80's. BOO!!! I'm hoping the prediction is not accurate since we are still 3 weeks away. If I'm celebrating the Christmas season, I want to wear cozy clothes and have hot chocolate. Not to mention all the Disney shirts I bought for my little guys are long-sleeved. I was even hoping for a day of rain the keep the crowds down. Oh well. I guess we will see as it gets closer.

We are about 225 hours from walking into DL! :cool1:

We fly out early on the 3rd and will be at SNA before 1pm local time.

This! I live nAZ and would love cooler weather, or even rain to keep people away! We'll be in the parks nov 15-16, and again 23-24. It'll feel more Christmasy if it's cool.

But, our BFFs who are coming from PA are looking forward to the warm sunny weather.

It'll be what it'll be. At least at night it'll cool off for us :).

Update: I'll be staying in the Disneyland Hotel for all 9 nights of my stay! High Floor Resort View! :dance3: Nov. 1st - Nov. 10th.
