Hello all! I've been MIA and you've all been SO chatty! Welcome to all the newcomers. I've been reading along mostly, just not posting. You may not have even noticed I've not been around , but I missed you ladies!

So excited as the trip gets closer and closer! I love to see that there are more going for Thanksgiving now, too.

Mommyof3-I'm sorry you were feeling so awful and I'm so glad that you're feeling better. And hope everyone who had sick kiddos, that they are feeling better as well.

We have to stay as economically feasible as possible, so for our family of 5, that makes it POR. We love it, though. I just wish the trundle bed was different, but my DD would sleep on a blanket on a balcony if it meant she were at Disney World! I really do wish there were an extra bed at CBR since the rooms there are actually bigger, or trundles on the mansion side. We're really only in the room for sleeping, though. And we do adore the grounds. Who knew we had one too many kids! And I'm totally kidding. We had the perfect amount of kids!

Still planning, changing and rearranging here. So much fun!

You do know that POR is updating the trundle to a murphy bed, right? I hope that solves your problems!!!! It will hopefully solve ours as well, as my kids HATED the trundle bed.

Isn't changing and rearranging Disney plans what we all do best? I think I do it in my sleep.
The one thing I have to disagree with you on though is the perfect number of kids..... I think 4 is the perfect number.

I have three kids myself and I LOVE it. However, I would LOVE four so I can see where you are coming from. With that said, its expensive enough with three and boy is it hard work so we will stick with 3. Plus my husband is hellbent against a fourth so I kind of have no choice LOL!

Glad to hear this antibiotic is working and you are feeling better. Whenever I have a UTI the first antibiotic they give me never works for some reason.

So today my daughter decided she wants to go to the Halloween Party instead of the Christmas Party at Disney in 2012. Since, this is her Communion present from us, we decided she can choose. Which means we are now looking into September to book...the good news is that its two months sooner and the bad news is that I may be leaving you all ....

Anyone been in Sept? Pros/cons?

Welcome back! I was MIA for a while also but it feels good to be back especially now at the one year mark. Actually, one year from today we will be heading home from Disney I am going to be so depressed when the trip is over and all the planning is done.

I got my mickey mail yesterday!!!!! YAY!!!!!!!! that means its getting closer! 3 weeks!! Now that I am feeling tons better today, I am sooooooo excited!!!!! TMI alert- I wnet to disney last year for our first trip and battling a similar are infection and it wouldnt go away! So yea Disney pain free to me will be a dream come true and I will be on the whole time!

Anyway, I am almost done Christmas shopping for my girls. One of the presents for DD3 is a Barbie power wheels jeep well I ordered it from Walmart when it was on Rollback from $249 down to $229 well checked this morning and it was down to $199! YAY! I immediately made a payment of $100 to Disney (had $70 but like to do $100 increments) so yea its gone already but hey we are down to $1800 from almost $4000 i want to get as much paid as possible now because DH is a construction worker and our winter paychecks are scimpy some years. So now I feel as if I have gotten somewhere. Even if I wont make another payment til April. My goal is to have it paid off by May. Whatever money we come back with out of our stash goes right onto the next trip

Hubby and I were just talking about paying this trip off last night. We want ours paid off as quickly as possible too. We know what you mean with slow years. We have a land surveying business.

I hope I will get the chance to plan another Disney trip after this one but I am thinking it may not happen. That is probably part of the reason I am being so obsessive with this trip. We are not going to be going back every year or every other year this is pretty much it at least for all 4 of us to go as a family.

DH is not a big Disney fan although I am trying to change his mind with this trip and he is being more receptive than I thought. DD will be 16 and a sophomore on this trip. She will go back to Disney in 2015 for her senior class trip (which I hope to chaperone). Then off to college. She prefers our Caribbean all-inclusive vacations over Disney (as does DH). So I just don;t think we will make it back to Disney as a family again for a long long time after this trip. But if DS an/or DH turn into Disnye fans then maybe I can come back with them.

You know, 4 is an awesome number. One downside of 3 (5 in all) is that someone always gets stuck riding alone if it's by 2s and I HATE that!

well I'm not too sure but I think are plans MAY change, but won't know for awhile, my dd says the highschool where she will be attending go to Disney for chorus, just looked on the highschools website and looks like they got beginning of December. Maybe I will go get some supplies to start my planning binder today. I know I could probably just use apps on my phone but I think making the binder will be fun. Anyone else make planning binders or books?

DH decided that were going to start using our disney visa for bills and such so we can earn those disney dollars, BUT he said he didn't think we could go next year Then he said but I know you want to and I said yes, I want to go during the christmas season. Just hoping that disney releases a free dining offer for November before the end of this year , you know, so I can throw that at him as an incentive

I am so jealous of anyone owing less than $3k on next year's vacation. We will be getting down to the $3k mark on December 1st. I'm trying to do monthly payments and this month's payment is going to be like $1k. Our trip was almost $5k though because we did deluxe dining this time. A far cry from our first trip that was only $2400 So yeah, we are totally hoping for some kind of discount!

I picked up coloring ornaments the other day to start on for next year. I can't sit by idle... I'm no good with long waits, lol!

Hello again all!! School has been keeping me so busy that I haven't been on the boards like I had been. By this time next year, we will be in the minivan on our way to WDW!! Hopefully, free dining will be announced soon!! I think the waiting is giving me additional grey hairs, and I don't need any more that I already have. Luckily, there is so much planning to do that I hope the time flies.

This WDW trip is still over a year away and we are already planning our 2013 family vacation. The DH wants to take the DSs to CA to the redwood forest. I am hoping to sneak in a visit to DL, since we'll be so close and my DH is the only one that has been there.

My gut really does tell me that one will be released. But I'm not looking for to it until August or so. Could you go ahead and plan while you wait fr this?

Are you into couponing? I am. I really love the challenge. And it gave me another reason to have another binder. Anyway that is just more savings that could go to your trip.
