Has anyone every done BBB? I am thinking about doing it for our Nov trip for all the little girls and just wanted to know if anyone has ever had a hard time getting an appointment? I am nervous that since I will have 4 girls doing this, itll be hard! I am still not sure which day I want to do this...in DTD on the first day, in MK on the second day? any ideas?

I had a great niece do it a few years ago. I set things up for them and she was beautiful. She did the whole thing and had such a great time. I would book in advance. Especially if you want to do this in the Castle. Also are you talking about the full thing or just hair and makeup? I have two little great great nieces doing this on the 2012 trip. They are just doing hair and makeup and we are taking their dresses. My sister who is a photographer will take there pictures in the park somewhere.

I'm so glad it's the weekend! It's been a long week.

I think I'm going to make my hotel ressies this weekend. I need a little Disney in my life.

Good Morning! :goodvibes Its FRIDAY!!!:cool1: and i finally get my basement worked on today!!! :dance3:

Yay! How did it go?

Peyton has done BBB twice:

Dec2007/Jan2008-the week between Christmas and New Year's, she went to BBB at the Castle. She loved it. She was 8. We just did hair and makeup. We brought our own Sleeping Beauty gown that we had gotten at the Disney Store. Very pretty boutique. We did buy her the Sleeping Beauty shoes at the BBB. I was a sucker. Expensive, the ONLY time she wore them.

Nov2010-this time we went to BBB at Downtown Disney. She was 11. Again, scheduled for just hair and makeup, thought she was too old/big for a princess dress. Yeah, she talked me in to a Belle gown. It was easy for her to do, because she looks just like Belle..... Didn't like her Fairy Godmother In Training as much at this location. Saw her pick out the darkest hairpiece for her and I KNEW it was way too dark, but didn't speak up (I can be ridiculously shy and I HATE that!). Her hair the time before was the lighter brown and it was PERFECT.

Overall, I think it was so much nicer at the castle. We had reservations at CRT for lunch right after and it was just magical. (other than the record cold which required layers under her dress including a turtle-neck! :scared1:)

Think that will be the last time for us. She'd still love to have her hair and makeup done, but she's not sure about it..... we'll see.

I think your girls would LOVE it! Perfect ages, IMO.:goodvibes

Ah, yes! A little Disney makes ANY day better!

Time for bed. Goodnight! :upsidedow

We originally were going to stay at POFQ this December but had to cancel due to a personal reason. Recently, I booked for November of next year at POFQ again. I am 50 and my husband is 53 and plan on spending 11 nights - half in the parks. After reading about all of the resorts, I changed our reservation to the Yacht Club with Deluxe Dining.

We are staying for 11 nights in a Garden View Room (hopefully, we will get upgraded to a water view). I requested a high floor and a King bed if available. I chose the Yacht Club because of the close proximity to Epcot, Hollywood Studios and the Boardwalk.

I love swimming and hope Stormalong Bay is warm enough in early November. My husband is not much of a water person but would gladly read a book poolside while I swim.

Dining does not open up until May 5th for reservations but I know I am interested in:

:cheer2:Welcome, aml3679! :flower3:

Sounds like you're planning a WONDERFUL vacation. Your dining choices sound great, as does your resort! I love, love, LOVE going to Disney with the 5 of us, but I also really look forward to going back again just DH and I some day. Last time we did that was on our honeymoon 22 years ago. Can't wait to do it again.:lovestruc

We got our customized Disney World maps today! I LOVE them! Thank you so much for telling me about them. I'm so wacky I will treasure them forever! :lmao:

Welcome AML3679!! Looks like you have some great ADR plans. :thumbsup2

Good afternoon everyone! I hope everyone is having a great weekend. I just made our Disney reservations!! :cool1:  :woohoo: I'm so excited!! :woohoo:

I've already started the kids Epcot passport books, and character autograph books. I'll finish those this coming week.

I'm going to do my best to keep it all a secret, but man, it's hard!!

I'm pricing my trip again for fun today while hubby watches football. Although not very much fun about it, with 6 of us it's getting expensive! I'm keeping everything I have crossed for FD however we would have to give up staying at the Fort which hubby will pout about. If we don't snag a good discount we might have to give up the dining plan and cook more in the camper, which will also make hubby pout lol.

:welcome: to the November 2012 thread!!! I will add you to the list

On a side note, MY HOUSE IS FREE OF ANY LEAKS!!!   :dance3: :yay: :woohoo: :woohoo: :dance3: I am so happy!!! Turns out, they had to pull our second story deck away from our house, replace the flashing which half rusted away and sealed everything up nice and tight. Next up is the basement ceiling then I can get beck to daycare down there. The kids miss their toys!:headache:

I managed to pay more of my Nov trip off, still have sooooo much to go but a good chuink is paid. I am hoping to have atleast half paid by the one year mark. I have like $600 more til the half way mark. :upsidedow maybe we will make it :rolleyes1 if not its ok. Hope everyone has a great sunday!

We are planning to spend Thanksgiving with the mouse. Only time that the kids are not playing a sport and no school! We have had to cancel too many times. Also, gives us time to pay off the trip and save! We are all very excited!:yay:

I'm calling tomorrow and changing our trip back to November. We'll be there for our oldest DS's 15th bday. I'm really hoping that they offer free dining. We're going to be staying at the FWC from 11/12-11/17. I can't wait!! It means pushing our trip back from May to November, but I'm ok with it since my "baby" can celebrate his bday there.

I've been away a week or so - have I missed any important news/developments?

This weekend I presented my PowerPoint to my travel group. They all loved it! I wish I could post it here to show you guys, because my mom helped make it cute with Tinkerbell animation and a classic-ish Mickey at the end! Anyhoo, everyone loved my ideas, except my husband, the curmudgeon. He just checked his Blackberry the whole time then fell asleep on the couch. I think he may end up going down to visit a friend on the coast instead of staying with us, and I'm honestly at the point where I'm okay with that. It's not like I'm asking him to go to prison for a week, y'know? Like I never do stuff I don't want to do... :lmao:

SO here is more drama(I will tell you, This last month has been not too good to me) for your reading pleasure, my truck has said low coolant for about 2 weeks, DH checked it and said it wasnt low so I kept driving, he finally called his brother, our mechanic, and when he came over it was like 6 inches low :scared1: I dont know why I tell DH to do stuff, he just blows me off like I am a worry wort! :headache: Anyway, the oil was low, and our vanishing antifreeze was found...................mixing with our oil cuz we need an intake manifold gasket!!! :headache:  :headache: :sad2: :sad1: :scared1: Why cant anything go right lately??? :confused3 I had a little money left over from the insurance payout so we were gonna set it aside for Disney and xmas shopping but now I have to pay for my truck to get fixed! Luckily its a popular engine so the partisnt too expensive but labor and everything else has the price up there! I NEED some :wizard: my way :(
