I can't wait to get an official date on the front page!


I hope everyone has a wonderful day! Our yesterday was eventful! It was my birthday, I took the kids to Busch Gardens (Williamsburg-we're just 45 min from there) and apparently missed the biggest earthquake the east coast has ever seen! Don't get me wrong, I am glad no one was seriously injured, but it would have been kind of cool to say I survived an 5.8 quake on bday...

but.... back to disney planning

I'm having a great day! I talked to my "disney buddy". We met on my trip in May and have kept in touch since then. Trying to convince her to go with me next year.

How fun is that?? I may need to find a Disney buddy. LOL. DH is nowhere near as excited about WDW as I am.

yea I felt it at my house...about 60 min outside of DC. It was scary and with 6 lil kids on top of that kids were frightened! BUT back to planning

Happy Birthday!! Wow, you really are a die hard Disney fan. You don't even let an earthquake interupt your Disney planning. I'm really glad that ya'll are okay though.

My hubby loves Disney. He just lets me handle things. So for that reason alone I really love the Dis. This place is full of people that just get the craziness.

LOL mine does that sometimes, I close my browser and open it again and all is weel! Dead ppl would be a bit freaky though

My DH was a real pain before our first trip. He thought it would be stupid and too expensive. He changed his mind shortly after getting there. He loves it, but still doesn't want to do any planning. He actually wants to retire to FL now and work part time at WDW. lol

Ok so the D&B purse I ordered arrived yesterday-w/o the cosmetic bag so I emailed them, they sent an email back saying they would offer me a $25 GC. I called and asked if I could get a refund, they said no(must have been cuz I paid with paypal?) Anyway I said we are going to WDW can I use that egiftcard to get a real gc for use at WDW, they said yes so I called them back last night(someone told me they got the cosmetic bag in stock) and the girl re-ordered the cosmetic bag which shipped out last night, so I checked my paypal account to make sure they didnt charge me again, and WOW! They refunded me almost half of what I paid! I am not sure why but who is complaining.....not me!

Wow! That is a great deal on your purse/cosmetic bag.


We are in the path, but on the outskirts. The latest predictions are 2-4 inches of rain with up to 40mph wind. All in all, not terrible. Anything can happen with storms, so we're keeping watch.

We are also in the path for Sunday morning. we are scheduled to get 4-6" of rain and windy. Good thing we dont live on the shore! We are also keeping watch. Man what a week this has been! I also felt an aftershock last night. not as strong here but at the epicenter in VA it measured 4.0. It was enough to scare the cats and make some toys fall that my kids like to balance on the toy box ( u know when they say everything is clean)

Ok here is more drama for your reading pleasure! I checked my paypal account and this morning, it said that they charged me for the cosmetic bag( $15.91) and I still have about $160 credited to my account. I cant really complain that they charged my account the $15.91 but on the other hand, wth is going on? I wish this transaction would just be over with. Now if I call to complain about the cosmetic bag being charged to my account, they will notice their mistake. UGH! Descisions, descisions....I will just watch it for now.

Well they have manditory evacuated everyone on the coast. We are about 1 and 1/2 hours from the coast. We are under a watch/warning. We are supposed to get things together tonight and put everything inside that can blow away. We will be in for wide spread and prolonged outages according to the call from the electric company and my county called too, something about flooding and blah blah blah. I only live about 3miles from the water so we will see! I hear(according to the am news) that when it hits us it will still be a catagory 2 and wont even downgrade to catagory 1 til it hits Long Island NY. Then a tropical storm when it hits up in RI or somewhere up there. Im keeping an eye on it!

lol no doubt about that! There are two parks(like riding trails,playground picnic areas) about 3 miles in opposite directions near the water so we yea we livein swamp land-very lovely---NOT! lol. They say be prepared for outages for up to 72 hours! WTH m i gonna do with no Dis or FB ACK!!!
