Those are our dates too! Where are you planning on staying? We are staying at POR in the new Royal rooms!

We will be staying at FW Cabins. We love it there. There are 5 of us and we need the space. We tried The Poly last time and, although I loved it, there just wasn't enough room for us.

Do ya'll by chance have a generator?

No unfortunatly not. So I went to wally world to get a flashlight and water for my friend. So they raised a case of Dasani to $8.50 and a case of Aquafina to $9!!! There were only $4 loaves of bread left so off the the grocery store I went! I got the last 3 cases of Deer Park water for $5 and the last of the charcoal(for my friend too) for $9! JEEZ! Talk about supply and demand!

So at 5 tonight, we heard that the rain will egin somewhere arond 3 and the worst will be from 4pm through the night-there goes my whole weekend:/ Oh well while I still have tricity Imma post on the Dis......til im in the dark.

No. i woke up this morning and thought wow we still have electric. So in hopes of not being pooh sized for Disney, I got up to go down in the basement and exercise. Well I got down there(which by the way is where i do home daycare so its finished) there is water dripping from the ceiling and the carpet is soaked. We had to cut half of our ceiling down and rip our carpet up. The whole inside of our ceiling(we have a set of sliding doors on each floor right above each other)was getting wet cuz the doors were both leaking so we had to file an insurance claim, and have estimates done and HOPE that it doesnt cost an arm and a leg to fix. Oh and hope its covered I have never been so upset/sad in my life! I am thankful everyone is ok but that is my livelyhood so I have to close my daycare tomorrow. I hope it doesnt take the State Farm adjusters too long to come out. I hope it doesnt take too long to fix either.

I am sooo sorry! Make sure when you are getting it repaired that anything that is not completely dry is replaced. You don't want to deal with mold in the future. Especially with your day care.

So Sorry to hear this hope everything turns out okay.We had a flood due to broken water pipe when we were gone for a day trip. State Farm went above and beyond . My only sadness was a lot of photos that were single prints could not be replaced.

Itll be $3000 to replace everything and make my house whole again BUT theres the issue of the $1000 deductable If this happened before we booked Disney we would not have been going. I know itll be ok with time. Lets just hope the adjuster comes soon cuz the contractor wanted to get started due to me having daycare

I think we've changed our mind about going in June and are going to try and go Thanksgiving week next year. We just want cooler temps! So I'm watching like a hawk for discounts. Looks like we will be going the 17-23 or so.

I wish we'd find out about deals soon for November 2012, but I'm afraid that's wishful thinking. For us, if we can't get a significant room discount or free dining, we're going to be staying off site, so promotions are literally the key to how I plan this, going forward. :/

I think we've changed our mind about going in June and are going to try and go Thanksgiving week next year. We just want cooler temps! So I'm watching like a hawk for discounts. Looks like we will be going the 17-23 or so.

I wish we'd find out about deals soon for November 2012, but I'm afraid that's wishful thinking. For us, if we can't get a significant room discount or free dining, we're going to be staying off site, so promotions are literally the key to how I plan this, going forward. :/

I really wish they would release discounts as well. But plan like you are getting just what you want.

AMEN to that! DH was so sweet he moved my elliptical out of the damaged part so I can continue to exercise! He said taht I am doing so good that he doesnt want something like this to discourage me I love him so much!
