See I have to go change my ticker every couple weeks just for something to do Disney related lol. I still am working on our schedule for parks, between when everyone is coming in and ages of kids, I cant figure out a good park schedule! Why oh why am I incharge of this grand gathering?

Now wait just a dog gone minute! Changing your tickers will just keep me confused.

Which trip is your grand gathering? My next trip is one to. There is going to be about 20 of us.

The grand gathering is my november 2012 trip, its the one that says SHHH its a secret DD's bday surprise trip. It will be 17 of us. I had to put my MVMCP trip and my ADR for the nov trip lol

That sounds great. I just hope ours goes off smoothly. We are only planning to come all together for some of the meals. And then I know we will just naturally come together in different groups over the course of the week. But right now nothing big is planned.

I hope ours goes well too, I just dont like how everyone says to me what ever you wanna do, we will do the same! That just makes me feel like if I dont do a good job, I will ruin their vacation. The biggest thing is that itll be me,dh,my 3 DD's, my brother, my mom and dad and grandparents, Then itll be a friend, her 2 DD's, her DH and mom. And maybe my brothers DGF and DS. It would be easier if I could say hey we are in MK this day, lets meet here for dinner! I guess that would be too easy! Dont get me wrong, I do planning a trip and picking places to eat, but my friend just found our she needs to eated Gluten free (Celiacs disease) so I have to make sure that the ressies accomidate her cuz it wouldnt be fair not too And what doesnt help is I dont know the dates for next years MVMCP. I learned the hard way this past Oct when we did AK and then went to MNNSHP that with little kids, you cant do a park and then a party It was horrible!!! Maybe since they will be about 2 yrs older nis go round, itll be easier

Your going this year or next year? I see 4 months til your next trip but this november isnt 4 months away so I am assuming next Nov. YAY!

I have planned our days/parks for next Nov using this Nov 2011 calendar. I know there may be changes, but it will be easier to tweak it then.
We are going to DL this Nov & it's not as much fun planning. Plus, DL doesn't even have the calendar out for this Nov yet.

I just used this idea today to see what I could plan out...the stinky thing is not knowing hours or EMH or party dates!! Anyone else planning to go to the MVMCP???

I am still trying to decide about MVMCP. I want to go, but now that they allow more people in than b4, it's gets too crowded. I don't want to spend an extra $220 to deal w/crowds in MK.

We will be doing the MVMCP. I just can't go to disney during that time frame and not do the party.

Hubby and I keep talking about making a very quick run down to catch the party this year. My fingers are crossed.

1)when are park hours usually released?

2)are they usually released around or before the 180 day mark so you can book adr's.?

3)when are MVMCP dates released for that year?

Never planned a trip this far out really don't know if I can handle this long of a wait for a trip hope it doesn't depress me having to wait this long knowing that I will be going instead of just wishing I could go

So how do you guys that usually plan so far in advance pick which parks which days and your adr's?

Well the MVMCP hours will be released sometime around April or May. Park hours are usually the same from year to year(u can use this years PH to plan) but released a few weeks before hand.I plan what ever park I feel like on which day and then make ADR's for that day.-

monthly calendars are released 180 days out
it's usually a close call w/making ADRs
i looked at this Nov schedule to get an idea of park days and i have a list of ADRs i know i want to make
so when the Nov 2012 calendar is out, i can make a quick check to make sure everything fits and there are no major changes

I am not sure but I know this year FD extends through thanksgiving

Its going to be interesting to see what other discounts they drop for this year.(If any) And hopefully extend into next year.

Last year there was FD, a room only discount and an offer of a gift card.
We went with FD but probally should have gone with the room discount.





If they do drop a room discount for this year ...... I'll be booking fast.
