So looking to book Nov 2012 after American thanksgiving (I am Canadian) we have done Halloween twice so we want Christmas now.

What do you think the chances of a discount for this time? FD is offered this year? When do they usually announce discounts for these dates?

Hi Pirate! There was FD in 09 after Thanksgiving. And in 08, we had a wonderful room discount. Some nights were only US$49 (value resorts). So hopefully, something good will surface for Nov-Dec 2012.

I agree with dazednconfused.....I think there is a great chance at this point that we will have discounts of some type offered.

I think I am gonna do the pizza thing like on the video or get a big box filled with balloons and wrap it. Since we are going for DD's bday, maybe I can say it was an early gift that came in the mail!

I think I may start working on planning for the trip today. I have to finalize our mini trip plans, get everything together in one place and write down ADR's and times. Then I will work on my trip planners for the big trip. Im going to go to Michaels today to get some paper and a mini planner so I can count down myself lol but first, Zumba on the Wii! Cant be pooh sized for Disney!

I hope your planning and the work goes well. I love Michaels, but I get in trouble when I go in there. I do need to go and get the stuff for the Disney Christmas wreath I want to make for our door at POFQ. I just can't decide on the theme.

Make it look like a mickey mouse head
You could take a regular size wreath and then put 2 smaller wreaths as ears and then put clusters of those plastic ball ornaments one bigger one and 2 smaller ones

Your welcome I crafts lol can get into some trouble in michaels...I was looking at the pics from last years MVMCP and tey have garland swagged down main street and where it meets in the middle there is a Mickey wreath just like the one described

Ok I have a question.... last year we stayed at the Poly CL and it was wonderful! I loved the resort, the food-everything! Next year when we go, we will be staying at POR. I am a little scared because with CL, we had breakfast, drinks and treats at night for the kids all taken care of. Do you think that staying at POR will be ok and maybe we can order the grocery items for breakfast from Garden Grocer? I know we cant afford Poly and last year we had a 40% code( and it was our 10th ann. so even more special). I want to make this trip so special for the girls w/o going broke.
