I've been looking at TP's touring plans today, and I'm wondering how much they will change when the FP time restrictions go into effect or when the new Fantasyland is complete. Guess that part of my planning will have wait until our dates get much closer.

DH bound the kids Epcot passports for me, and they look great! I finished their autograph books today, and DH is going to take those to work tomorrow to bind for me. I'm heading out early tomorrow to pick up some plain back packs so I can get them made this week. I have lots to get done this week!

I feel like I'm way behind on my planning. I don't have anything done yet. I just don't want to plan until I know where I'm staying. I'm really afraid dh is going to insist on staying offsite if we don't get a pin or some sort of significant discount. With 2 rooms, paying rack rate would be really expensive. It would be much cheaper to stay offsite in a condo. Dh is all about the cost not the disney magic!

Trust me staying off site is not the end of the world. We have stayed offsite our last three visits in a very nice condo. I probably will never stay onsite again. Give me a 2-3 bedroom 2 bath condo any day over a small hotel room. It can be as magical as you want it to be.

I have a question for split-stay vets about dining reservations.

The Swan & Dolphin have 180 day reservations, without the +10, so my plan has been to call in every day to schedule my ADR's once I get to the 180 day mark. Now I've added one night at a Disney resort to the front end. Will this allow me 180 +10 for my whole stay, or is it limited to the length of the stay with my DVC reservation?

Does anyone know if I'll be able to book all the way through, even if my reservation is only for one night?

We're finishing out at a Disney resort, too, so I know I'll have 180 + 10 for the second half of our trip. I've made our trip good and complicated for lots of planning fun!

I hope you get the code you want! If not, I'm sure your vacation will be magical. DH would probably feel the same, but he doesn't plan our trips - I do. And I have no intention of telling him we can stay cheaper off site!

I don't know, but I would sure try! You might be able to get a better answer on the DVC board or Dining board.

Trying to catch up a little.....I was seriously "Stressed" about the release of the calendar to see if we could firm up our dates at all.
Then my daughter won in dance and got invited to Macy's Thanksgiving Parade. Would you believe she turned it down because she wants to go to Disney so bad????
I raised her right didn't I?
So, I have gotten my hands on the "pre-approved" calendar for our district and we are off Thanksgiving!!!!
The school board does have to approve it on the 20th, but they have already seen it and have made the changes that need to be made. So hopefully it is a go. I am actually super shocked to have it off. Texas has a law you can not start school till after the 4th Monday of the month. Well, that makes school start later than usual.
I started making payments to the people we are renting our DVC points from too!!! That should be paid for by our 7 month booking window.

Can't wait for Thursday when I will have time to sit down and look at everything again.

I have noticed alot of people on the DIS having problems getting ADRs for the HDDR thru August so I gave DD a call and have some not-so-good news. HDDR will be going thru a lengthy rehab starting Aug 5th until the end of the year. This is one I was really looking forward to...anyone been to one of the other dinner shows? How did you like it?
